The role and importance of marketing research in the transition to the digital economy

This article substantiates the importance and importance of modern marketing research for the formation of a database of market activities of enterprises to promote the digital economy in the country. The article also sets out the basic requirements and principles of modern marketing research. The author suggested that the development of the digital economy in the country can only be achieved through marketing research aimed at developing a business database.
