Ingliz va qoraqalpoq tillaridagi "Family/shańaraq" konseptining lingvomadaniy tahlili bu ikki madaniyatda oila g‘oyasi qanday tushunilishi va ifodalanishini o‘rganishni nazarda tutadi. Har ikki tilda ham oilaning ahamiyati va uning shaxs hayotida tutgan o‘rnini ta’kidlovchi maqollar mavjud. Biroq, har bir tilda qo‘llaniladigan o‘ziga xos iboralar madaniy nozikliklar va qadriyatlarni ochib beradi. Lingvomadaniy tahlil orqali biz turli madaniyatlar oila tushunchasiga qanday qarashlari va qadrlashlarini chuqurroq anglashimiz mumkin. Shuning uchun maqola ingliz va qoraqalpoq tillarida "oila/shaңaraq" konseptining lingvomadaniy tahlilini o‘rganishga qaratilgan.

The concept of "family" or "shańaraq" in English and Karakalpak languages reflects

the cultural values and traditions of each society. In English, the term "family" refers to a
group of people related by blood or marriage who live together and share common goals
and values. The concept of family in English culture emphasizes the importance of
individualism and personal choice, where individuals have the freedom to choose their
own path in life [3,72-74].

In Karakalpak culture, the term "shańaraq" also refers to a group of people related

by blood or marriage, but it emphasizes the importance of collectivism and community.
The concept of family in Karakalpak culture is closely tied to the idea of hospitality and
generosity, where family members are expected to help each other and welcome guests
into their homes [5, 34].

In both cultures, the concept of family is deeply rooted in tradition and plays a

central role in shaping social norms and values. However, there are differences in how
each culture views the role of family in society. English culture tends to prioritize
individualism and personal choice, while Karakalpak culture places greater emphasis on
community and collective responsibility.

All these proverbs given in two compared languages show the high value of

relationships among family members. The proverbs suggest that family members should

be close to each other and support each other in their daily lives. They imply that living

far away from one's family can be difficult and lonely.

Linguacultural analysis of the concept of “Family/shańaraq” in English and

Karakalpak languages is important for several reasons.

Firstly, it helps us understand how different culture’s view and define the concept

individualistic cultures, Karakalpak culture values extended family and hospitality.

Understanding these differences can help us appreciate and respect other cultures.

Secondly, linguacultural analysis helps us identify similarities and differences in

how different languages express the same concept. For example, while the English word

"family" originally referred to a household or group of servants, the Karakalpak word

"shańaraq" refers specifically to kinship and relatedness.

Finally, linguacultural analysis can help us identify idioms and expressions related

to the concept of family in different languages. These expressions often provide insight

into cultural values and beliefs. For example, the English idiom "blood is thicker than

water" emphasizes the importance of family relationships, while the Karakalpak

expression "a guest is a gift from God" highlights the importance of hospitality [2].

The effects of linguacultural analysis of the concept of “Family/shańaraq” in

English and Karakalpak languages are significant. Some of these effects include:

1. Improved understanding of cultural differences: Linguacultural analysis helps to

highlight the differences in how different culture’s view and express the concept of

family. This can lead to a better understanding of cultural differences and help to

promote cross-cultural understanding.

2. Identification of cultural values and beliefs: Through linguacultural analysis,

linguists can identify the cultural values and beliefs that are reflected in language use.

This can help to provide insights into the underlying cultural attitudes towards family

relationships, hospitality, and other related concepts.

3. Language evolution and change: Linguacultural analysis can also help linguists

to identify patterns and trends in language use across different cultures. This can lead to

a better understanding of language evolution and change over time.

differences related to “Family/shańaraq”, individuals can communicate more effectively

with people from different cultures. This can help to promote better relationships and
