Abstract:
As we all know, one of the goals and objectives of the educational reform being
carried out in our country is to train specialists who can master foreign languages fluently and
freely communicate with the younger generation, to introduce them to the culture of the peoples
of the world through the study of foreign languages.
Keywords:
Speaking a foreign language, computer, Internet, pedagogical technology, innovative
technology, methods.
Currently, modern technologies play an important role in teaching foreign languages. They help
make the educational process more effective, interactive, and interesting. In this article, we will
examine the important modern tools and methods used in teaching foreign languages.
The report of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the role of modern technologies
in teaching foreign languages presents important changes and innovative approaches in the field
of education. The following key points can be raised in this presentation:
The importance of modern technologies: The President emphasizes the importance of
modern technologies in teaching foreign languages, including online platforms, mobile
applications, and interactive tools. These technologies help make the educational process more
effective and interesting. Improving the quality of education: With the help of modern
technologies, the process of learning foreign languages becomes more qualitative and provides
an individual approach for students. This, in turn, increases the level of language acquisition by
students. Globalization and Competitiveness: The President emphasizes the importance of
knowing foreign languages in the context of globalization. By learning foreign languages, the
younger generation can become competitive in the international arena. Innovative approaches:
The lecture discusses how innovative approaches, such as the use of artificial intelligence and
virtual reality technologies, can help make the educational process more interesting and effective.
Teacher Training: The President emphasizes the need to improve teachers' qualifications so that
they can apply modern technologies. Teachers should familiarize themselves with new methods
and tools. Social and cultural connections: Learning foreign languages creates opportunities not
only for language acquisition but also for understanding and communicating with other cultures.
These aspects can constitute the main content of the President's speech. The goal is to
increase the level of knowledge of the younger generation of Uzbekistan and ensure their
competitiveness in the international arena through the use of modern technologies in teaching
foreign languages.
The textbooks and teaching aids currently being presented in our country to fundamentally
apply the field of education to foreign languages are also practical proof of this goal. Therefore,
only a student who is interested in their native language and has thoroughly studied it can
develop a love for other languages and learn them. Also, from the point of view of the attention
paid to language learning in our country, unprecedented work has been done in the last 5-10
years, and this has been brought to the level of politics, and in turn, a number of resolutions and
decrees have been developed on the study of foreign languages. In particular, a video conference
was held under the chairmanship of our president Shavkat Mirziyoyev on improving the system

of learning foreign languages. It was noted that from 2021, a requirement for foreign language
teachers to have a national and international certificate will be introduced. Now, instead of
traditional teaching methods, the organization of the educational process based on interactive
methods using new ICT has been established. In turn, this is one of the modern methods of
learning a foreign language in a developing world. Learning and teaching any foreign language
using modern technologies is one of the most effective methods.
Through a computer, phone, tablet, and audio, you can also watch and listen to video clips,
presentations, dialogues, movies, or cartoons in a foreign language.
- Audio programs in English or another language can be listened to and watched.
Modern and traditional players and tape recorders can be used.
CD players can be used for listening. The use of such technical means helps learners make the
foreign language they are learning more interesting and effective.
At the same time, it would not be an exaggeration or a mistake to say that learning a foreign
language is a process consisting of performing exercises. This is the dynamic (movement) side of
the exercise. Its static (state) aspect is that it is organized in the textbook as educational material.
Exercise in statics is understood as an educational and methodological category, consisting of
two parts, designated by a certain number or letter in a foreign language textbook or specially
highlighted, and constituting the content of the lesson. The parts of the exercise are referred to in
methodological literature as "exercise requirements (titles) " and "exercise material." The
exercise material can be written in the textbook (letter, word, sentence, graphic text) or a product
of the student's speech (sound, word, sentence, oral text). A dynamic exercise is a learning
activity performed by a student in a foreign language, ranging from writing a letter or
pronouncing a sound to perceiving and understanding the text or freely expressing their thoughts.
This article concludes that, as we live in an era of advanced information technologies, it is
necessary to teach foreign languages more perfectly in a way that is understandable to everyone,
using these conveniences wisely. Consequently, the implementation of technologies and
ensuring that teaching methods meet the demands of the time are the urgent primary tasks of
pedagogical scientists. Training specialists and improving their qualifications are also relevant.
At a time when the economic, political, cultural, and educational ties of our state with the
countries of the world are strengthening, the interest of our youth in the life, culture, traditions,
and languages of foreign countries is growing. The role of foreign languages in the development
of these relations is invaluable.
