This article examines the historical origins and evolution of terms associated with jurisprudence, shedding light on the linguistic and conceptual foundations of the field. By tracing the etymology and semantic development of key legal terminology, the study investigates how the language of law has evolved over time and the historical contexts that have shaped its meaning.


Drawing upon a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates linguistics, legal history, and socio-cultural analysis, the research explores the diverse sources and influences that have contributed to the formation of legal terms. It investigates the impact of ancient legal systems, such as Roman law, Canon law, and Islamic law, on the development of legal vocabulary. Additionally, it examines the role of linguistic borrowings, such as Latin, French, and Greek, in enriching and expanding the lexicon of jurisprudence.

THE TEXT AND ITS UNITS RESEARCH IN LINGUISTICS

Language is an extraordinarily unique phenomenon as a central and at the same time extremely complex object of study of old and new sciences that explore the essence, psyche and human activity from different angles. The path of direct awareness and manifestation of this mysterious phenomenon is to divide the entire flow of speech into parts, to divide it into pieces, to be able to imagine each part or particles separately, and also to be able to perceive proportional and even disproportionate relationships between these parts or particles, there is no doubt that his mind went through a long and difficult path of gradual improvement. He also discovered such ways of using language in the process of human self-expression, development processes, connecting these speech fragments with each other, as a result of which he became the author of a miraculous tool called artistic speech. Masterpieces of the word, created as unique forms and samples of such beautiful speech - legends, myths, epics, fairy tales, proverbs, riddles, songs, poems, dramas, stories, novels and novels live, are created and, of course, will be created as unique evidence of artistic human genius. This art of magical speech is explored with such disciplines as linguistics, literary criticism, aesthetics, history, so to speak, hand in hand, together, in cooperation. But regarding the study of the life of the language in this special area, called fiction, although the beginning of the study of this problem dates back to ancient times, disputes and discussions have never stopped. No one has ever denied the fact that literature is the art of the word, and its primary element is language. In the history of mankind, the art of visual perception of the world, called literature, was created, and the word, the means of expressing this art, is the painstaking task of fully interpreting the language that constantly occupies the human imagination and thinking.

This study employs a critical discourse analysis (CDA) to examine the discourse surrounding COVID-19 in Ethiopia. By exploring the narratives and discursive strategies used in public discussions, media coverage, and official statements, the study aims to understand how the pandemic is framed and understood in Ethiopia. The abstract highlights the importance of rethinking the past and defining the present in the context of COVID-19. Through an analysis of language, power relations, and socio-political ideologies, this study investigates the historical, cultural, and political factors that shape the discourse on COVID-19 in Ethiopia. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the ways in which the pandemic is constructed and perceived in the Ethiopian context, informing public health strategies and fostering critical engagement with the crisis.

This study aims to unveil the colonial remains in Indonesian fashion and explore the colonial influences in Blogipelago, a popular fashion blogging community in Indonesia. The legacy of colonialism has left a significant impact on various aspects of Indonesian society, including fashion. The abstract seeks to investigate how colonial influences are manifested in contemporary Indonesian fashion trends and styles as reflected in the Blogipelago community. Through a qualitative analysis of fashion blog content, visual imagery, and fashion narratives, this study examines the use of colonial-inspired elements, such as textiles, silhouettes, and accessories, and the ways in which colonial aesthetics are incorporated into contemporary fashion expressions. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the colonial legacy in Indonesian fashion and shed light on the complex dynamics between cultural heritage, globalization, and fashion identity.

Thus, Berdaq gradually became a well-known and highly respected poet and a prominent figure among the people. Most importantly, we will provide information about how he started composing poems inspired by his own melodies.

This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the writing proficiency levels and perceived challenges in writing skill among Arabic and English language student teachers. The research investigates the writing abilities of these student teachers and explores their perceptions regarding the challenges they encounter in developing their writing skills. The data was collected through writing assessments and questionnaires, and the findings were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results provide insights into the similarities and differences between Arabic and English language student teachers in terms of their writing proficiency levels and perceived challenges. This study contributes to our understanding of the factors influencing the development of writing skills in different languages and provides valuable information for language teacher education programs.
