The article focuses on how the concept of "Space" is portrayed in English proverbs and how they view the world. The elements of the "Space" notion are given a lot of thought since they contribute to our comprehension of the proverbial "world view."

The article discusses the function of American and Uzbek literature in translation studies as well as its relevance to daily life. The scientific perspective particularly emphasises how translation enables intercultural contact. The basis for a work's popularisation and the emergence of imagination among peoples is the fact that works of many nations are translated several times and transmitted to the people. In translation studies, literary translation plays a crucial role. Each country can express its national ideology, customs, spirituality, educational system, and social life through a work of art. Therefore, it is essential for literary translation that it incorporate words and ideas that capture the essence of the country. Language is a tool that both unifies and divides the world's inhabitants.

In this article, the pragmatic features of the pleonasm phenomenon in dramas, what pragmatic factors influence the emergence of excess, objects of pragmatics such as tag meaning, presupposition, speech acts were analyzed using examples from historical drama.

This study explores the phenomenon of language anxiety among postgraduate students at Yarmouk University in Jordan. Language anxiety, a significant psychological factor influencing language learning, is examined through a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and classroom observations. The research investigates the levels of language anxiety experienced by students, its sources, and its impact on language proficiency and academic performance. The findings offer valuable insights into understanding and addressing language anxiety among postgraduate students in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context.

Cross-lingual sentiment analysis is a challenging task in natural language processing due to the linguistic diversity across different languages. Existing approaches often struggle to accurately transfer sentiment knowledge between languages with distinct syntactic and semantic structures. In this research, we propose a novel approach called "KarakaCross" for cross-lingual sentiment analysis. Inspired by the Karaka theory, which models the semantic roles of words in sentences, our method leverages semantic role labeling and cross-lingual transfer learning techniques. The KarakaCross approach enables the alignment of sentiment-related semantic roles across languages, facilitating the transfer of sentiment knowledge. We conduct extensive experiments on multilingual datasets, demonstrating the effectiveness of KarakaCross in achieving superior cross-lingual sentiment analysis performance compared to state-of-the-art methods. Our research contributes to advancing the field of cross-lingual sentiment analysis and offers new insights into leveraging semantic role information for better sentiment transfer between languages.
