Introduction. The national idea is an ideological system formed on the basis of unique historical,
cultural, spiritual and social values of the people, determining its future and development. It
serves as a force that unites the people, preserving and developing its identity. The essence of the
national idea is that it helps the people understand themselves, evaluate their history and culture,
set goals for the future. The significance of the national idea is very great. Firstly, it ensures the
unity and cohesion of the people. Through the national idea, people feel themselves as a single
whole, strengthen their ties. This leads to social stability. Secondly, the national idea plays an
important role in strengthening the spiritual and moral foundations of society. It contributes to
the spiritual elevation of people, the development of such values as patriotism, justice,
freedom and equality.
The national idea is of particular importance in the formation of a legal democratic society. In
such a society, the principles of human rights, freedoms and justice play an important role [1].
The national idea contributes to the development of these principles, encouraging people to
understand their rights and protect them. Members of a society whose citizenship is formed on
the basis of the national idea can defend their rights, fight for justice and actively participate in
democratic processes. The national idea also plays an important role in ensuring social justice in
a legal democratic society. It encourages people to treat equality, justice and respect for human
rights. This ensures social stability in society and guarantees the protection of the rights of every
person. In addition, the national idea is also important in the education system. It is necessary to
instill knowledge of national values, history and culture through education, as well as to educate
the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism. This process helps to strengthen the national
idea and creates the basis for the active participation of the future generation in the formation of
a legal democratic society. The national idea is also relevant in the context of modern global
problems. In the context of globalization processes, cultural exchanges and economic
competition, the national idea acts as a unifyingfactor for the people. It is the guiding force in
preserving the identity of the people, protecting their cultural heritage and promoting

development. As a result, the national idea plays a central role in the formation of a legal
democratic society [2]. It unites the people, increases spirituality and ensures social justice.
Every citizen must respect the national idea and actively participate in its development. Thus, the
national idea serves as an important tool not only for preserving the identity of our people, but
also for building a legal democratic society.
A democratic society based on the rule of law is a system that ensures the equality of citizens,
based on the principles of human rights, freedoms and justice. In such a society, everyone has the
opportunity to freely express their opinion, protect their rights and receive fair governance. The
national idea, in turn, is the unifying force of society, based on the historical, cultural and
spiritual heritage of the people. There is a deep connection between these two concepts.
Human rights are the innate and inalienable rights of every person. They include such
fundamental rights as life, liberty, personal security and the right to property. In a democratic
society based on the rule of law, human rights are protected and developed. The national idea, in
turn, encourages the recognition and respect of these rights. Thanks to the historical experience
and cultural values of the nation, human rights help people to realize their identity. For example,
the national idea encourages citizens to know and protect their rights, which serves to ensure
justice and equality in society. Freedoms are the freedom of the individual to express their
opinion, make choices and act. In a democratic society based on the rule of law, freedoms are
protected and developed. The national idea plays an important role in ensuring freedoms. As a
unifying force of the people, it encourages every citizen to freely express their opinion, preserve
and develop their culture. Thanks to the national idea, people can communicate, exchange ideas
and show respect for each other. This ensures social stability. Justice is the principle of equal
recognition and protection of the rights of every person. Justice is the fundamental principle of a
democratic society based on the rule of law. The national idea plays an important role in
ensuring justice [3]. It encourages people to strive for fair governance and serves to strengthen
trust between citizens. Thanks to the national idea, people can establish fair relations with each
other, ensure social equality and maintain stability in society. To further deepen the connection
between these two concepts, the national idea should promote respect for human rights and
freedoms. If the national idea is aimed only at preserving historical and cultural values, then it
will not be enough to solve the problems of modern life. Therefore, the national idea must
constantly evolve and adapt to the demands of the times. In a democratic legal society, the
national idea serves not only to preserve the historical heritage, but also to encourage citizens to
actively participate. In this process, citizens can freely express their opinions, interact with the
authorities and participate in public processes based on the principles of human rights, freedoms
and justice. This ensures social stability in society. As a result, the connection between a
democratic legal society and the national idea is manifested through respect for human rights,
ensuring freedoms and implementing justice. Together, these principles help the people to realize
their identity and pave the way for the creation of a stable and just society forfuture generations.
The national idea not only reflects the history of the people, but also determines their future.
The development and strengthening of the national idea is of great importance for the future of
every society. The success of this process is directly related to a number of conditions, including
changes in the education and upbringing system, social activity and the role of civil society.
First of all, it is necessary to create the necessary conditions for the development of the national
idea. Among these conditions, political stability, economic prosperity and a strong cultural
environment play an important role. Political stability is a key factor in the development of the
national idea, strengthening trust between citizens and promoting unification. Economic
prosperity, in turn, contributes to an increase in the standard of living of the people, which, in
turn, leads to the strengthening of the national idea. The development of the cultural environment,
in turn, allows us to preserve the historical heritage of the people and pass it on to new
generations [4]. Secondly, changes in the education and upbringing system play an important
role in the development of the national idea. The modern education system should, first of all, be
aimed at educating the younger generation in the spirit of national values. In education, such

issues as studying the foundations of the national idea, respect for the historical heritage and
culture are of great importance. Young people need to be brought up to love their country,
respect its history and culture. This also promotes the development of creativity and critical
thinking in the educational process, and the education of young people as active citizens.
Thirdly, social activity is an important factor in strengthening the national idea. Citizens must
know their rights and freedoms and actively participate in public processes. Social activity
ensures the unification of citizens and the achievement of common goals. Such activity
additionally strengthens the national idea, since citizens can freely express their opinions,
contributing to changes in society. Public organizations, the non-governmental sector and social
movements play an important role in the development of the national idea.
Fourthly, the role of civil society is also important in strengthening the national idea. Civil
society is a set of organizations and movements that regulate social relations between citizens,
protect their rights and help ensure justice in society [5]. The active participation of civil society
contributes to the development of the national idea. It unites citizens, listens to their opinions and
encourages them to actively participate in the life of society. At the same time, the use of modern
technologies and means of communication is also important for the development of the national
idea. Thanks to the Internet and social networks, young people can freely express their opinions
and promote national values. This contributes to the widespread dissemination and strengthening
of the national idea. As a result, the conditions necessary for the development and strengthening
of the national idea, changes in the education and upbringing system, public activity and the role
of civil society are closely interconnected. Each factor, in turn, serves to further strengthen the
national idea. By implementing these processes in combination, we can create a stable, fair and
prosperous society. Conclusion. In conclusion, it should be noted that the national idea plays an
important role in building a democratic society based on the rule of law. It strengthens the
historical and cultural identity of the people, strengthens the sense of unity and solidarity. The
national idea encourages citizens to recognize their rights and responsibilities, ensure social
justice and develop economic stability. It also promotes open dialogue and exchange of ideas,
which strengthensdemocratic processes in society. As a result, the national idea serves as the
main basis for the formation of a democratic society based on the rule of law, paving the way for
active participation of citizens and fair development.
