Abstract:
Modern technologies open up broad prospects for modernizing the methods of
training future Russian language teachers. This article examines practical forms, methods and
tools based on the integration of digital tools, reflective practices and intercultural interaction.
Particular attention is paid to the use of virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) realities, interactive
educational platforms and their importance for the professional development of students of
pedagogical universities.
Key words:
teaching methods, technologies in education, Russian as a foreign language,
digitalization of education, pedagogical education, interactive methods, VR/AR in education,
reflective learning, intercultural communication.
Introduction
In the context of a dynamically developing information society and growing demands on the
quality of education, the problem of improving the teaching methods of future Russian language
teachers is becoming especially relevant. A modern Russian language teacher must not only have
deep knowledge of the subject area and methodological competencies, but also be prepared to
effectively use innovative technologies in their teaching activities.
The integration of technology into the educational process allows for the creation of a more
interactive, engaging and personalized learning environment, promoting the development of
students’ key competencies and the formation of their analytical and reflective skills. In this
regard, the purpose of this article is to describe and analyze practical forms, methods and means
of technologies aimed at improving the teaching methods of future teachers of the Russian
language in higher education.
The presented research is based on the analysis of modern trends in pedagogy and methods of
teaching the Russian language, as well as on practical experience in the use of information and
communication technologies in the educational process.
Methods
The following methods were used in this study:
1.
Analysis of scientific literature: Study of theoretical and methodological works devoted
to the use of technologies in teaching Russian and training teaching staff.
2.
Pedagogical observation: Observation of the conduct of classes using various practical
forms, methods and technological means in the process of teaching students of pedagogical fields.
3.
Generalization of pedagogical experience: Systematization and generalization of the

experience of using innovative technologies by teachers of the Department of Pedagogy-
Psychology and General Education Disciplines of the Silk Road University of Innovations.
4.
Analysis of digital educational resources: Evaluation of the effectiveness and possibilities
of using various interactive platforms, VR/AR applications and other digital tools in teaching
future Russian language teachers.
5.
The main emphasis was placed on studying the practical application of technologies that
contribute to the formation of methodological competence of future Russian language teachers.
Results
Analysis of teaching practice and review of modern digital educational resources made it
possible to identify a number of effective practical forms, methods and means of technology that
contribute to the improvement of teaching methods for future Russian language teachers:
1.
Practical forms:
• Interactive classes: Using interactive platforms (Kahoot, Wordwall, Quizlet, etc.) to conduct
surveys, quizzes, and joint assignments, which increases student engagement, activates their
cognitive activity, and promotes better assimilation of the material. An example would be
conducting interactive dictations with instant feedback or creating joint mind maps on the topic
studied.
• Master classes and webinars with the participation of practicing teachers and methodologists:
Organizing online and offline meetings with experienced teachers allows students to become
familiar with modern methods of teaching Russian, receive practical advice and ask questions of
interest.
• Project activities using digital tools: The development of educational projects by students
(creation of interactive lessons, multimedia presentations, web quests) using various digital tools
contributes to the development of their creative abilities, skills in planning and organizing the
educational process.
• Virtual excursions and immersions: The use of VR technologies to organize virtual excursions
to museums and historical sites associated with Russian culture and language creates the effect of
presence and promotes deeper immersion in the material being studied.
• Business and role-playing games using digital communications: Organizing situational games
that simulate real teaching situations (for example, conducting a trial lesson in a virtual
classroom) allows students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in practice and develop
communication skills.
1.
Methods:
• Flipped Classroom Method: Providing theoretical material for independent study by students
before class, and classroom time is devoted to practical work, discussion of complex issues and
completion of interactive tasks.
• Problem-Based Learning: Offering students the opportunity to solve real-life pedagogical
problems that require the application of knowledge of Russian language teaching methods and
the use of technological tools to search for information and develop solutions.
• Reflective learning using online diaries and portfolios: Students maintain electronic diaries in
which they reflect on their learning process, teaching attempts and achievements, and create
electronic portfolios demonstrating their professional growth and mastery of technology.
• Gamification of the educational process: Introduction of game elements (points, ratings,
achievements) into the educational process using educational platforms and applications to
increase student motivation and engagement.
• Methods of visualizing educational information: Active use of infographics, mind maps, videos
and other visual means to present educational material, which contributes to better understanding
and memorization of information.
2.
Technology tools:
• Interactive whiteboards and projectors: Provide the ability to collaborate on educational content,
conduct interactive exercises and demonstrate multimedia materials.

• Educational platforms and LMS (Learning Management Systems): Provide tools for organizing
the educational process, posting educational materials, conducting online testing and interaction
between teachers and students (e.g. Moodle, Canvas).
• Online services and applications for creating interactive content: Kahoot, Quizizz,
LearningApps, Genially and other services allow you to create exciting quizzes, tests, interactive
presentations and exercises.
• VR/AR applications and equipment: Used to create immersive learning environments, conduct
virtual tours and simulate pedagogical situations.
• Audio and video creation and editing tools: Allow students to create their own learning
materials, developing their media literacy and creativity.
• Platforms for online communication and collaboration: Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other
services provide the ability to conduct online classes, webinars, organize group work and
exchange information.
Discussion
The results of the study show that the integration of practical forms, methods and means of
technology has a positive impact on improving the teaching methods of future Russian language
teachers.
The use of interactive platforms and methods activates students' cognitive activity, increases
their motivation to study methodological disciplines and promotes better assimilation of
theoretical material.
The use of VR/AR technologies opens up new possibilities for creating immersive learning
environments, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and linguistic
characteristics of Russian-speaking countries, as well as simulate real pedagogical situations in a
safe virtual environment.
Reflective practices using online diaries and portfolios help students develop self-analysis and
self-assessment skills, which is an important aspect of the professional development of future
teachers.Project activities using digital tools allow students not only to deepen their knowledge
in the field of Russian language teaching methods, but also to develop creative abilities, the
ability to work in a team and apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
It is important to note that the effective use of technology in the educational process requires not
only the availability of appropriate technical equipment and digital educational resources, but
also the willingness of teachers to introduce innovative approaches into their teaching activities.
There is a need for continuous professional development of teachers in the field of using
information and communication technologies and methods of their application in teaching the
Russian language.
Conclusion
The introduction of practical forms, methods and means of technology is an important direction
for improving the teaching methods of future Russian language teachers.
The use of interactive classes, master classes, project activities, VR/AR technologies, flipped and
problem-based learning methods, as well as various digital educational resources helps improve
the quality of training of teaching staff, develop their methodological competence and readiness
for effective work in a modern educational environment.
Further research may be aimed at studying the influence of various combinations of
technological tools and pedagogical methods on the formation of specific professional
competencies of future Russian language teachers, as well as the development of methodological
recommendations for the effective use of technologies in the process of their teaching.
