Abstract:
The article is devoted to modern and effective technologies used in preparing children
for school. Innovative approaches and methods aimed at developing cognitive, social, and
emotional skills in preschool children are considered.
Keywords:
educational technologies, school preparation, cognitive skills, social development,
emotional development, preschool children, learning through play, project activities.
Preparing children for school is an important stage in their educational journey, creating a
foundation for successful learning and adaptation to the school environment. Modern
technologies play a key role in this process, contributing to the comprehensive development of
children. We will consider the main and effective technologies used in preparing preschool
children for school, their advantages and methods of implementation in practice.
One of the leading educational technologies is the use of interactive teaching methods.
Interactive whiteboards, tablets, and educational programs make the learning process more
interesting and visual. These technologies help children develop data skills, improve memory,
thinking, and attention, as well as acquire basic knowledge in mathematics, reading, and writing.
For example, interactive applications for teaching reading can include games with letters, sounds,
and words, which allows children to assimilate the material faster and more effectively.
The methodology of teaching through games is also an important element of preparing children
for school. Game technologies allow creating a stimulating and supportive environment in which
children can learn through play. For example, the game "Assemble as in the sample," in which
children, looking at the picture, assemble geometric shapes on a chair using counting sticks.
Active games contribute to the development of motor skills and coordination, and also teach
children to work in a team and follow the rules.
Game "Find the Form." In this case, geometric shapes are prepared for each child. The teacher
finds a figure and asks the children to find out which geometric figure this figure is. For example,
which figure is in the third row in the left column, etc.

In the game "Find the Ninth," the teacher shows one of the shapes and asks what (what shape) is
missing there. Children need to find the shape and explain the reason for their choice.

Design activity is another effective technology for preparing children for school. The projects
allow children to independently study topics of interest, develop independent work and critical
thinking skills. For example, a project on the topic "My City" can include studying the history of
the city, creating models of buildings and streets, and presenting the results of the work. This
contributes to the development of children's skills in researching, planning, and presenting
information.
The use of virtual reality technologies opens up new opportunities for preparing children for
school. This technology allows creating an interactive and interesting learning environment in
which children can study various objects and phenomena. For example, virtual excursions to
museums and historical sites help children better understand and remember the information
being studied, as well as awaken their interest in science and history.
The socio-emotional development of children is an important aspect of school readiness, and
modern technologies can make a significant contribution to this process. Special programs and

applications for the development of emotional intelligence help children learn to understand and
express their feelings, understand the feelings of other people, and develop communication skills.
For example, games and tasks aimed at developing like-mindedness and cooperation help
children learn to work in a team, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships with others.
The Montessori approach is one of the innovative methods actively used in preparing children
for school. This method is based on the principles of children's independent learning and active
participation in the educational process. Montessori materials and games help children develop
self-organization, concentration, and independent thinking skills. For example, tasks for
classifying and sorting objects develop children's logical thinking skills and understanding of
categories.
It is important to consider several key aspects for the successful implementation of modern
technologies in preparing children for school. Firstly, technologies should be adapted to the age
characteristics and needs of children. Secondly, it is important to create an encouraging and
supportive learning environment in which children feel confident and comfortable. Thirdly, it is
necessary to ensure a balance between the use of technologies and traditional teaching methods
so that children can develop comprehensive skills and abilities.
Parents also play an important role in preparing children for school. They can actively participate
in the educational process by supporting children's interest in learning and providing them with
access to various educational resources. Joint games, reading books, visiting museums,
conversations with the child, and other joint activities help strengthen the connection between
parents and children, and also contribute to the development of children's interests and skills.
In addition, the use of technologies helps parents better control their child's educational process.
They will be able to monitor their children's development, receive reports on completed tasks,
and learn about their weaknesses. This will allow parents to be more involved in the educational
process and provide additional support when necessary.
Summarizing the above, it can be said that modern technologies create wide opportunities for
preparing children for school. The use of interactive learning methods, game technologies,
project activities, virtual reality, and socio-emotional development programs contributes to the
comprehensive development of children and their successful adaptation to school life. Creating a
stimulating educational environment and active participation of parents will make the process of
preparing for school more effective and interesting.
