THE ROLE OF IT TECHNOLOGIES IN OUR LIFE AND
THE IMPORTANCE OF TERMS IN USE

Abstract —
It is difficult to imagine the future of today's era without IT technologies, and for this reason, the study of this field
remains the demand of the time. It is not for nothing that our president creates many conditions for training young people in this
field and training qualified specialists. As the field of IT develops, studying related terms, studying the problems and tasks of
translation from English, and developing terminological dictionaries creates a number of tasks for our linguists. We will talk
widely about them in this article

— Bugungi davr kelajagini IT texnologiyalarisiz tasavvur etish qiyin, shu sababdan ham ushbu sohani o’rganish davr
talabi bo’lib qolmoqda. Yurtboshimiz tomonidan ham bu sohani yoshlarga o’rgatish va yetuk mutaxassislar tayyorlash bo’yicha
ko’plab shart- sharoitlar yaratayotgani bejizga emas. IT sohasi rivojlanar ekan, unga oid atamalarni ham o’rganish, ingliz tilidan
tarjima qilishdagi muammo va vazifalarni o’rganish, atamashunoslik lug’atlarini ishlab chiqish lingvist olimlarimizga ham bir
qator vazifalarni keltirib chiqarmoqda. Ushbu maqolada shular xususida so’z yuritamiz.

I
NTRODUCTION
It is not for nothing that the 21st century is called the age of information technologies. In our time, as the process of globalization is
becoming more and more rooted, the demand and supply of computer technologies is developing at the same high level. The role
of IT technologies in our lives knows no bounds and continues to develop rapidly. 10 years ago, only a few people could
understand the word “IT”, and only specialists in that field, nowadays it is difficult to meet a person who does not understand this
term. The real reason for this is that this field has already become an integral part of our lives and it is doing its work not only in
the computer world, but also in the fields of finance, economics and education. For example, the introduction of artificial
intelligence technology helps to detect cases of tax evasion, prevent fraud, analyze data and automate processes and increase
transparency, while big data - Big data it provides an opportunity to store and process a large amount of data received by the tax
authorities, to better predict the receipts and to improve the document exchange between the payers and the tax authorities. IT
terms are the special language spoken and understood by the representatives of this field, which helps them to communicate
comfortably, learn new things and teach.

AIN PART
Terminology as a discipline began in the 1930’s with Eugen Wüster, the author of The Machine Tool, an Interlingual Dictionary of
Basic Concepts3, a systematically organized French and English dictionary of standardized terms (with a German supplement)
intended as a model for future technical dictionaries. This multi volume work inspired the General Terminology Theory, and set
out the initial set of principles for the compilation and description of terminological data with a view to the
standardization of scientific language. The General Terminology Theory was later developed in Vienna by Wüster’s
successors, who interpreted his ideas and carried on his work. [16, 5] Nowadays terminologies of IT technologies have developed
not only globally, but also in Uzbekistan It opened many doors to great success. For example, a dictionary of IT terms in the Uzbek
language has been created. The book presentation was held by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Fund for the
Development of the Uzbek Language under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Today, when information and communication technologies are rapidly entering our lives, it is possible to buy and sell not only
products, but also services through ICT. In our country, favorable conditions are being created for the introduction of ICT in all
spheres of society and the use of modern technologies, to fully satisfy the growing demand for information of citizens, to enter the
world information society, and to expand the use of world information resources. President's speech "Conditions for rapid
introduction of artificial intelligence technologies according to the decision on measures to create information from March 1 of

institute for the development of technologies and artificial intelligence Scientific aimed at comprehensive implementation of the
"Digital Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy organization of research and economic sectors, social sphere and public administration
introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the system; fundamental and practical in this direction will be of great
importance in conducting scientific research.[8, 4]
Reason and Discussion. We mentioned above a number of reasons for the improvement of the IT field today and the development
of terminology related to this field. First of all, IT facilitates instant communication globally through e-mail, social media,
messaging apps. This connectivity fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing. The internet powered by IT provides access to vast
amounts of information on virtually any topic which revolutionized education, research and decision-making. IT plays a pivotal
role in driving economic growth by fostering entrepreneurship, enabling e- commerce, creating job opportunities in the technology
sector and its associated industries. IT empowers individuals and communities by providing platforms for activism, social
networking, civic engagement, and humanitarian efforts. It has the potential to address social challenges such as poverty,
inequality, and environmental sustainability through innovative solutions and collective action.
The demand for learning terms in the field of IT is also increasing day by day, we can cite several reasons and reasons for this.
Standardized IT terminologies ensure clear communication among professionals within the field, because it facilitates effective
collaboration, problem- solving and knowledge- sharing process. They provide a common language for learning and training
purposes. When encountering technical challenges or issues, familiarity with relevant IT terminologies can expedite problem –
solving issues. It enables professionals to accurately identify, diagnose and address issues, leveraging their understanding of
underlying principles and technologies. IT terminology evolves alongside technological advancements and innovations. Staying
updated on new terms and concepts allows professionals to adopt to emerging trends, technologies and methodologies, ensuring
continued relevance and effectiveness in their respective roles. In an increasingly interconnected world, IT professionals often
collaborate on projects with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and regions. Standardized IT terminologies facilitate seamless
communication and collaboration across borders, cultures, and languages.

ONCLUSION
There are some examples of IT termins, Algorithm- A set of rules followed by a computer to perform a task or solve a problem,
Artificial intelligence – the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, particularly computer systems, Cybersecurity-
the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, and data from digital attacks, theft, and damage. It includes measures such
as firewalls, encryption, antivirus software, and security protocols.
