Evaluation of autonomic nervous system in sepsis in infants

Objective: To assess the parameters of vegetative support of adaptation mechanisms in determining the nature of the inflammatory response in infants with septic diseases. The study investigated the flow of the dis-ease in 276 children between the ages of 2 months. up to 1 year, were in the intensive care unit for septic pa-tients. The results state the fact of violation of the regulatory function of the ANS in sepsis with the development of the majority of patients hypersympathicotonic state. Children with CNS disease in the perinatal period has been a significant increase in tension of adaptive mechanisms, is realized primarily by the sympathetic-adrenal structures VNS and manifested hypersympathicotonia they constitute a risk group, under certain conditions they have severe infectious and inflammatory diseases, including sepsis
