Optimization of diagnosis and surgical treatment of children with congenital diaphragmatic hernia

In our study, we used data treated 45 children with congenital diaphragmatic hernia during the period from 1993 to 2013. The clinical picture of each type of diaphragmatic hernia had its own peculiarities. At the same time determined by the leading symptom: respiratory distress - 41, as cyanosis 38), the asymmetry of the chest 24, respiratory depression with the presence of intestinal motility and splashing 27, digestion - 32, disorders of the cardiovascular system - 14. At the heart of respiratory failure with congenital diaphragmatic hernia is hypoplasia of the lungs in a reduced volume of the thoracic cavity. Based on the analysis of the re-sults of surgical treatment of congenital diaphragmatic hernia, proved the effectiveness of surgical correction of the open way irrespective of the type of anatomical defect. The success of treatment of children with con-genital diaphragmatic hernia is defined timely сhoosing the right diagnosis and surgical treatment. All chil-dren operated on for congenital diaphragmatic hernia is necessary outpatient observation.
