EMPOWERING YOUTH AND WOMEN THROUGH EDUCATIONAL REFORMS: SOCIAL MOBILITY IN UZBEKISTAN

Social mobility is one of the most important indicators of progress and justice in modern societies. It reflects the ability of individuals and groups to improve their position within the social hierarchy through education, employment, and civic engagement. In Uzbekistan, social mobility has become a priority within the framework of the country’s recent reforms. Special attention has been given to empowering youth and women, as they represent key drivers of social development. Educational reforms, in particular, have played a decisive role in creating equal opportunities and supporting upward mobility.
