Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of optimizing pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases using information technology tools. The study compares best practices from the experience of Uzbekistan, Russia and foreign countries, assesses the potential of information technologies to reduce the duration of pre-trial proceedings, increase the speed of processing procedural documents and improve the quality of proceedings. Based on the results obtained, practical recommendations have been developed for further expansion of digital technologies in the investigative bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
