Abstract

This article examines the experience of the People’s Republic of China in enhancing investment attractiveness. In particular, the strategic location of the first established Special Economic Zones (SEZs), the rationale behind selecting these specific regions, and their role as an important factor in economic development and global integration are analyzed.
