This chapter provides a holistic account of the life of Ibn Sina, the environment of the time in which he lived, his spiritual heritage, his works that have been preserved to us. The specific social and cultural characteristics of the environment of the regions in which the Thinker lived and his scientific heritage are detailed. The article covers Ibn Sina's emphasis on human values, spiritual perfection, reason and enlightenment; the philosophical views he gives. Like shuninhg, his humanistic ideas are considered his contribution to Eastern philosophy and modern thought.References
