THE ROLE OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY IN PREVENTING AND ELIMINATING THE SHADOW ECONOMY IN THE SERVICE SECTOR

This study examines the importance of digital (non–human-dependent) control mechanisms based on modern information technologies in preventing and eliminating the shadow economy in the service sector, as well as their economic efficiency and directions for improvement. The author analyzes the economic efficiency of the mechanism for eliminating the shadow economy through a digital (auto‑cameral) system using the example of service-sector business entities in the Samarkand region, and presents scientific-practical proposals and conclusions for its improvement.
