This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of forming mathematical concepts among primary school students. It explores the nature of mathematical concepts, stages of conceptual development, cognitive aspects of learning, and modern pedagogical approaches that enhance mathematical thinking. Based on the theories of Vigotskiy, Piage, Bruner, and other scholars, the study explains the mechanisms of conceptual acquisition in children. The article also highlights effective methods such as visual aids, interactive activities, game-based learning, and differentiated instruction as crucial tools for developing mathematical understanding.References
