Abstract

This article analyzes the political activities, military campaigns, reforms in state administration, and internal conflicts that arose during the reign of Amir Haydar, who ascended the throne of Bukhara after the death of Amir Shahmurad, based on historical sources. Although the regional governors' desire for independence, internal discord, and regular uprisings continued during the reign of Amir Haydar, he pursued an active policy of restoring Sharia-based governance, strengthening discipline, and suppressing uprisings. The study serves to determine the place of Amir Haydar's activities in historical historiography.
