The study investigates the neurological outcomes in newborns exposed to intrauterine infectious agents. The objective was to determine the patterns of brain injury and identify predictive markers associated with the severity of neurological impairment. A comprehensive analysis of clinical, laboratory and neuroimaging data was conducted. The results demonstrate that fetal CNS injury is driven by both direct pathogen-related cytotoxicity and inflammation-mediated disruption of neurodevelopmental processes.References
