This article highlights the formation and modern development of literary studies and folklore studies. It discusses the role of literary studies in the aesthetic and philosophical analysis of literary works. The paper examines the main research directions of folklore studies, modern research methods, and regional folklore issues. It also shows the interconnection and mutual influence between literature and folklore. During the years of independence, these two fields have played an important role in restoring national identity and preserving spiritual values. It is emphasized that through new scientific methods, digital technologies, and international cooperation, these disciplines have reached a new stage of development. The study reflects the modern trends in the development of literary and folklore studies.References
