Abstract

This article analyzes the role and functions of international organizations in regulating global freight transportation and their impact on logistics systems. In particular, it examines the contributions of the UN, ITF, IMO, ICAO, WCO, and IRU in shaping international transport policies. The study discusses legal frameworks, transport safety, environmental sustainability, and customs simplification. Systematic and comparative analysis methods were used. The results justify the importance of harmonizing international standards, ensuring environmental safety, and maintaining the continuity of logistics chains under the coordination of global institutions.
