teach, educate, and inspire.

Modern fairy tales may include new motifs and plots that reflect modern technology, social
changes and cultural trends. For example, fairy tales can describe interaction with virtual reality,
environmental problems, or the fight for equality. Characters in modern fairy tales can be more
multifaceted and realistic. They often have complex internal conflicts and develop over the course
of the story. This allows readers to more easily connect with the characters and see them as
reflections of themselves. In modern fairy tales one can find elements of irony and satire, which
are used to criticize modern phenomena and stereotypes.
This helps the tale be relevant and interesting to modern readers, and also allows the authors
to express their views on various social and cultural issues. Modern fairy tales still have moral
lessons, but they are often more complex and meaningful. Symbols and motifs in modern fairy
tales can have different interpretations, allowing readers to reflect on the meaning and significance
of the work. Modern fairy tales can take many forms and genres, including fantasy, science fiction,
magical realism, and others.
This allows authors to experiment with form and create original and unique works. The
modern literary fairy tale remains an important genre that continues to develop and adapt to
modern social and cultural conditions. It offers readers not only fascinating and exciting stories,
but also an opportunity to reflect on the pressing issues and problems of our time.
The poetics and problems of modern literary fairy tales in Russian and Uzbek literature
have their own characteristics, reflecting the cultural, historical and social contexts of each
country. Let's look at some of them. 1. **Russian literary fairy tale:** - **Traditional motifs and
plots:** Russian fairy tales are rich in a variety of motifs and plots, such as magic, encounters with
magical creatures, trials and travel. It often contains elements of folklore and folk wisdom. -

**Problems of the fairy tale:** In modern Russian fairy tales you can find a variety of themes that
reflect social and cultural changes. These could be issues of family relationships, finding one’s
place in the world, fighting injustice, and others. 2. **Uzbek literary fairy tale:** - **Ethnic
context:** Uzbek literary fairy tale reflects unique aspects of Uzbek culture, traditions and
customs. It often includes elements of Uzbek folklore, mythology and religious beliefs. -
**Modern Themes:** Contemporary Uzbek fairy tales may touch upon themes related to modern
life in Uzbekistan, such as social changes, family values, relationships between generations, etc.
Common to both traditions is the desire to convey certain wisdom and moral lessons
through stories of magic, adventure, and character. Each culture gives fairy tales its own unique
flavor and characteristics, reflecting its unique worldview.
Modern fairy tales often touch on current topics, such as environmental problems,
technology and artificial intelligence, social inequality and the search for oneself and one's place
in the world. The heroes of fairy tales have become more diverse: girls and women more often
play active roles, heroes of different nationalities, cultures and social groups appear, the main
characters may not be people, but animals, objects or even abstract concepts.
Modern fairy tales often combine elements of different genres: fantasy, science fiction,
realism, detective and adventure. This makes fairy tales more interesting and dynamic, and also
allows the authors to tackle more complex topics. Modern fairy tales often use allusions, quotes
and references to other works of literature, cinema, music and other forms of art. This creates
layers of text and makes it more interesting for readers familiar with the sources of these
references. Some modern fairy tales are created in an interactive format: readers can influence the
plot by making choices for the characters. Fairy tales can be presented in the form of games,
cartoons or webquests. This makes the reading process more exciting and allows readers to truly
immerse themselves in the fairy-tale world.
The modern literary fairy tale is a dynamically developing genre that is very popular among
children and adults. However, like any other genre, it is not without its problems.
Preserving traditions. How to maintain connections with folk tales and traditions in a
rapidly changing world? How to make modern fairy tales understandable and interesting for
children raised in an information society? How to find a balance between traditional fairy tale
elements and new themes and ideas?
Education of values. What values should be instilled in children through modern fairy
tales? How can we make sure that fairy tales bring goodness and teach children the right behavior?
How to avoid promoting violence, cruelty and other negative values?
Commercialization. How to preserve the artistic value of a fairy tale in a market economy?
How can we prevent fairy tales from becoming commercial products? How to support
talented authors and artists who create fairy tales that carry deep meaning?
Availability. How can modern fairy tales be made accessible to all children, regardless of
their social and economic status? How can we help children from low-income families and remote
regions gain access to quality fairy tales? How can we use the power of the Internet and other
technologies to make fairy tales more accessible?
Impact of new technologies. How does the use of new technologies such as artificial
intelligence and virtual reality affect the creation and perception of fairy tales? What new

possibilities do these technologies open up for creating fairy tales? How to maintain live
communication between a child and a book in the context of the development of digital
technologies?
Competition from other media. How can fairy tales compete with other forms of media
such as cartoons, video games, and Internet entertainment? What advantages do fairy tales have
over other types of media? How can we make fairy tales more attractive to children in the face of
information overload?
Censorship and self-censorship. How can fairy tale authors and publishers find a balance
between creative freedom and the need to comply with moral and ethical standards? How can we
avoid censorship and self-censorship, which can limit the creativity of fairy tales? How to protect
children from harmful content that may be contained in some fairy tales?
Lack of research. The features of modern literary fairy tales have not been sufficiently
studied. More research is needed to better understand how children perceive modern fairy tales. It
is important to study the influence of modern fairy tales on the development of a child’s
personality. The implementation of these tasks will create conditions for the development of a
modern literary fairy tale, which will not only entertain, but also teach, educate, and inspire
children.
In general, the modern literary fairy tale is in a state of dynamic development. She actively
uses the achievements of other genres and types of art, masters new technologies and forms of
presenting material. At the same time, the modern fairy tale faces a number of important problems
that need to be addressed so that it can maintain its relevance and educational value for children.
The modern literary fairy tale is a dynamically developing genre that is at the intersection
of literature, art, technology and education. It incorporates elements of different genres, uses the
achievements of other forms of art and actively masters new technologies.
In addition to the above, I would like to note: The role of illustrations in modern fairy tales
is becoming increasingly important. New formats of fairy tales are appearing, such as audio fairy
tales, video fairy tales, and e-books. Modern fairy tales actively use the capabilities of social
networks and the Internet. Studying the poetics and problems of modern literary fairy tales is an
important task that will allow us to better understand this developing genre and its place in the
modern world.
