In today’s modern educational process, the introduction of digital
technologies is regarded as one of the key factors in improving the quality and
efficiency of education. In particular, in the teaching of natural sciences,
including subjects such as analytical chemistry, which are rich in both
theoretical and practical knowledge, the importance of digital technologies is

increasing day by day. The digitalization of assessment and monitoring, which
are among the most important stages of the educational process, not only serves
to determine students’ level of knowledge, but also enhances their motivation to
learn, enables the implementation of adaptive education tailored to each
learner’s abilities, and contributes to the development of analytical
competencies.
The distinctive feature of analytical chemistry as a subject lies in the fact
that it requires students not only to possess theoretical knowledge, but also to
develop skills in analyzing complex experimental processes, accuracy,
observation, logical thinking, and applying scientific approaches to problem
situations. For this reason, the integration of modern technology-based
assessment tools into the teaching process of this subject is considered highly
relevant.
In analytical chemistry, a student’s level of knowledge is determined not
only by answering theoretical questions, but also through complex activities
such as performing various laboratory tasks independently, analyzing results,
creating graphs and tables, and working with formulas. Therefore, the
integration of modern technologies into the educational process is a timely and
necessary approach. Digital assessment tools automatically calculate results,
reduce the likelihood of errors, establish an approach based on statistical
analysis, ensure transparency in the educational process, and develop students’
self-assessment skills.
In addition, through the use of virtual laboratory platforms (Labster,
ChemCollective, PhET), students can master laboratory exercises in an
interactive and safe environment (Table 1). This fosters their analytical thinking,
observation skills, and experimental competencies. Platforms such as Moodle
and Google Classroom make it possible to continuously monitor student
performance, systematically store and analyze intermediate and final
assessment results.

The introduction of digital assessment technologies into the teaching of
analytical chemistry is considered a strategic requirement of modern education.
It ensures the efficiency, transparency, and interactivity of the learning process
and positively influences students’ attitudes toward the subject. The platforms
and technologies discussed in this article create broad opportunities for
teaching, monitoring, and assessing analytical chemistry in accordance with
modern standards. Based on these approaches, the educational process becomes
digitalized, and overall effectiveness is enhanced..
