THE IMPORTANCE OF INTENSIVE COURSES IN TEACHING

Abstract: English is perceived today as the main tool of global
communication. It plays an important role not only in international relations, but
also in the fields of Business, Education, Science and culture. Because of this, the
process of learning English has become a necessity for many people. Intensive
courses are of particular importance in this process as a method of teaching.
Intensive courses allow students to master the language quickly and efficiently in
a short time. Such courses often consist of several hours of classes to help students
develop language skills intensively.
Key words: English, intensive courses, motivation, teaching process, modern
technologies, methods.
The peculiarity of intensive courses is that they conduct classes more often
and regularly. This gives students the opportunity to quickly learn and practice the
language. Students can quickly consolidate their knowledge and acquire new skills.
Intensive courses also employ various techniques to attract students ' attention and
encourage them to learn. Teachers organize classes to suit the needs of students,
making the learning process more efficient. Intensive courses also give students the
opportunity to practice the language. During classes, students develop skills to
communicate, exchange ideas, and solve problems in English in a variety of

situations. This process increases the confidence of students and prepares them for
the use of English in real life. Students acquire language more deeply by applying
their knowledge in practice. This helps to increase their self-awareness and interest
in language.[1]
Intensive courses also help increase student motivation. Students can quickly
see results, which increases their interest in learning. They feel their progress and
it inspires them to try even more. During intensive courses, students have the
opportunity to compete against each other, which makes their learning process
more interesting. Students expand their knowledge by sharing ideas with each
other, learning experiences, and supporting each other. Intensive courses also offer
students the opportunity to make new friends. Students will be able to communicate
and share experiences with each other because they are studying in the same place.
This helps to develop students ' social skills. Students can learn from each other,
solve problems together, and support each other. Such social interaction helps
students feel comfortable and approach classes with more interest. Intensive
courses also make the language learning process of students more interesting and
effective. Teachers often employ modern methods and technologies that make
classes more interactive and fun. Students learn the language through games,
discussions, and other activities. This will attract their attention and make the
learning process more efficient. Interactive classes provide active student
participation and allow them to apply their knowledge in practice.[2]
Intensive courses also help students achieve their goals in learning the
language. Students set their goals and learn the skills needed to achieve them. This
process develops students ' self-control skills and helps them achieve their goals.
Students receive training to help them succeed in the future by strengthening their

internationally recognized certificates in English. These certificates confirm the
students ' level of knowledge and expand their future job opportunities. Students
gain advantages in employment and education by having a proof of knowledge.[4]
Conclusion:
In conclusion, intensive courses are very important in learning English. They
help students to quickly see results, use language in practice, make new friends,
and achieve their goals. Therefore, intensive courses can be very useful and
effective for anyone who wants to learn English. Students develop many useful
skills in the process of learning a language through intensive courses, and this helps
them to be successful in the future.
