IMPROVEMENT OF COMPLEX TREATMENT OF HERPETIC STOMATITIS

Tashkent state dental Institute, Uzbekistan
The problem of treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa is one of the urgent
tasks of practical dentistry. Despite the achievements of modern science, the
effectiveness of most drugs and methods of treating OS remains at an insufficient
level. It is important to take into account the fact that in the presence of a
sufficiently effective drug, it is very important to choose the optimal dosage for
each patient individually, as well as to evaluate the pharmacodynamic properties
of the drug during treatment, since at this time it is sometimes possible to activate
or inhibit the adaptive mechanisms of the div. It should also be noted that the
emergence of drug resistance in bacteria is a constant obstacle to the effective
treatment of OS diseases.
According to WHO, from 90 to 100% of the world’s population is infected
with herpes simplex viruses (HSV) types 1 and 2. This is mainly due to the
introduction of new medical technologies and a significant increase in the number
of patients with immunodeficiency, manifested in children by the development of
a dysbiotic state of the oral cavity.
Target
. Study of the effectiveness of the biological active additive Proposol
Spray in the complex treatment of patients with herpetic stomatitis and the
therapeutic effect of photodynamic therapy with the Duna apparatus.
Materials and methods.
The presence of complaints of headache, nausea
was revealed. Examined the skin, which could be pale. Body temperature could
rise up to 38°. At the peak of the rise in temperature, increased hyperemia and
pronounced swelling of the oral mucosa, elements of the lesion were found. The
number of elements of the lesion was counted and the number of relapses per
year was determined.
In the treatment of the 1 st group, the traditional therapy regimen was used:
Local therapy included painkillers before and after meals, irrigation of the oral
cavity with a solution of chlorhexidine (1:1 with distilled water up to 3 times a
148
day), as well as the use of 0.25% oxolinic acid ointment (3-4 times a day for 7-10
days). We applied these ointments to the tip of the tongue, and then spread them
over the surface of the OM and the red border of the lips.
In the 2nd group, the treatment differed in that, along with the generally
accepted traditional therapy, the use of prosasol spray before meals 3-4 times, in
addition, we used the drug lysobact, 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.
Results and discussion
. Based on the data studied, a comprehensive
treatment was developed that allows improving the quality of life of patients with
severe recurrent herpetic stomatitis.
Findings
. In conclusion, it should be noted that the inclusion of an
immunomodulator in the treatment regimen for patients with recurrent herpetic
stomatitis is marked by a pronounced clinical effect, the basis of which is the
regulation of systemic and local immunity and a decrease in the intensity of the
inflammatory process.

ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE OF THE PERIODONTIUM USING
THE CPITN INDEX DURING PREGNANCY
Yuldasheva N.A., Komilova A.Z.
Tashkent state dental Institute, Uzbekistan
Pregnancy in one way or another reflects all the main elements of the
etiopathogenesis of periodontal diseases, including bacterial invasion, the
protective properties of the div, reparative processes in tissues, blood
circulation and metabolism in them.
According to numerous studies, the growth of periodontal pathology and a
higher intensity of its damage in pregnant women are proved.
The purpose of the research: an epidemiological assessment of the state of
the periodontium according to the CPITN index in the dynamics of the
development of pregnancy and in the early postpartum period.
