Primary education is the initial stage in the process of children's learning. Primary education is
not only a process of teaching, but also a process that forms the basis for the spiritual formation
of a person. It plays an important role not only in providing students with knowledge, but also in
educating them. The education and upbringing received at this stage determine the future
personality of children, their attitude to learning, and their place in society. Therefore, it is
necessary to ensure the harmony of education and upbringing in primary education. The
importance of education and upbringing in primary education is very great. Because it is at this
stage that children enter the process of learning and their personal qualities are formed. Primary
education is the main step in children's learning. Education and upbringing are complementary
processes. Also, the upbringing process develops the child's moral qualities and helps him adapt
to society.
The importance and tasks of education: In the process of primary education, the interdependence
of education and upbringing is of great importance.
Formation of literacy - children acquire the skills of reading, writing and arithmetic.
Formation of fundamental knowledge - students master basic concepts in subjects such as
mathematics, language and literature, and literary studies.
From the time they first step into primary school, a child's foundation is formed. Therefore, it is
the task of primary school teachers to firmly form this foundation. First of all, the teacher must
be able to attract the child. At the same time, he must also give him love. Primary school
teachers have a great responsibility.
Development of creative thinking. Students' independent thinking and problem-solving abilities
are formed.
By increasing initiative, children's interest in new knowledge is cultivated and independent
learning skills are developed. At the same time, upbringing also forms a sense of respect and
decency. To form a culture of respect for adults, kindness to peers and communication.

The main goal of upbringing is to teach children the rules of proper behavior in society and to
form them as morally mature individuals. Upbringing is the key to the formation of a
harmonious generation. For education and upbringing to be effective, teachers and parents must
work together. The teacher's task is to make lessons interesting, form children's thinking skills
and be an example for them. The task of parents is to pay attention to the child's educational
process at home, form his morals and provide him with spiritual support. If parents and teachers
do not work together, no one knows what the child's future will be. Parents should never neglect
their child. Parents should always motivate their children. They should give them moral support.
If parents motivate their children by saying, "We believe in you, you will definitely succeed," the
child will enjoy it and reach for the sky. Then they will try to do these things. Parents should
only support their children in the pursuit of noble goals. The fact that a child's morals and
character largely depend on the family environment can also be a basis for this.
New approaches to modern education and upbringing are innovative methods, digital
technologies, life skills.
Innovative method. Learning through games, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art,
mathematics) approach.
Digital technologies are teaching using online learning platforms and electronic textbooks.
Life skills: teaching children not only subjects, but also important life skills - communication,
financial literacy, healthy lifestyle.
The ability to use all of this depends on the teacher's skills. Now the use of modern technologies
has become a tradition. Especially when it comes to electronic boards, when a clear image of
what is being studied is displayed on the screen, the subject becomes understandable to the child.
This helps the child develop creative thinking.
Teachers learn the psychological state of each student by observing each child. The teacher
always learns new methods so that the lesson is not boring for the children. The teacher is the
second mother to this child. The teacher must provide children with education and upbringing
equally. Because education and upbringing always go together.
The harmony of education and upbringing.
Education and upbringing are closely related to each other. In the process of education, children
not only receive knowledge, but also absorb moral and social values. For example:
Fair assessment during the lesson develops a sense of honesty and justice in the child.
Teamwork tasks form a sense of cooperation and respect.
Literature and history subjects instill national pride and patriotism. Education and upbringing are
inseparable concepts, and their harmony is manifested in the following aspects.
Moral education during the lesson - Children not only learn subjects, but also the teacher learns
to treat their peers with respect.
Formation of moral values through scientific knowledge - A sense of patriotism develops in
history lessons.
Discipline and self-control - By following school rules, children learn responsibility and order.
The effectiveness of education depends on its coordination with upbringing. The coordination of
education and upbringing ensures the all-round development of the child. Education without
knowledge is insufficient, and education without morality can be harmful to society. Therefore,
the processes of education and upbringing should be carried out in an inextricable way. When
the school and the family work together, the younger generation will grow up to be educated,
moral and responsible individuals.

In conclusion, primary education is an important stage that lays the foundation for the future
development of children. If harmony between education and upbringing is ensured in this
process, it will be possible to raise a harmonious generation. The cooperation of teachers, parents
and society will serve to increase the effectiveness of this process. When education and
upbringing are carried out together in primary education, children are formed into well-rounded,
knowledgeable and moral people. Therefore, it is important for teachers and parents to pay equal
attention to these two aspects. If a child is only given knowledge and upbringing is neglected, it
will be difficult for him to grow up to be a useful person for society in the future. Therefore,
great attention should also be paid to the moral and spiritual development of children.
