Maxillo-Facial surgery of Osh Interoblast Clinical Hospital of the Kyrgyz Republic on period of 2007-2009.
This article reflects the results of the analysis of 572 case histories of mandibular fractures who were treated in the department of maxillofacial surgery of Osh and Jalal-Abad regional clinical hospital from 2016 to 2019. The aim of the study was to study the dependence of the development of the degree of inflammatory complications in mandibular fractures on the timing of hospitalization. The study found that mandibular fractures were detected predominantly in patients aged 21 to 40 years (63.3%). Isolated fractures of the lower jaw were in 378 (66,1%) patients, in 194 (33,9%) cases the fractures of the lower jaw were accompanied by the brain concussion of different severity. The analysis of the dependence of inflammatory complications on the period of hospitalization allowed us to draw the following conclusions: purulent-inflammatory complications were detected in 15 patients out of 405 patients admitted for inpatient treatment before the 3rd day and made up 2,6%. Among 78 patients hospitalized for 4-6 days, 38 patients (48.7%), 89 patients hospitalized for more than 7 days, 84 of them had complications, which was 94.3%. Thus, late admission of patients with complications sharply increases and their prevention requires timely hospitalization of patients.
This article reflects the results of the study of 549 patients with fractures of the lower jaw who received inpatient treatment at the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital from 2018 to 2020 in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery. In the first days of admission to the hospital, 307 (55.9%) people had a violation of sensitivity of the skin and oral mucosa.
