This article is devoted to the actual problem of maxillofacial surgery, to the development of tactics of the complex treatment of purulent inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region in children.
The article presents the peculiarities of methodology of teaching pathological anatomy in modern realities. Approaches necessary for training future specialists in the organization of the educational process are described. It is shown, that introduction of modern multimedia opportunities in educational process, along with traditional forms of teaching, promotes the synergetic effect of using a complex of various forms of teaching of pathological anatomy at the Department of physiology and pathology of TGSI.
In the article, the study of morphometric parameters using the test-point method was carried out. The object of the study was the thyroid gland during the experimental administration of ladyginozid, which has an anti-atherosclerotic effect. The results obtained by morphometric methods rightly indicate that the daily administration of ladyginozid at a dose of 20 mg/kg leads to a change in the structure of the thyroid gland, indicating an increase in its morphofunctional activity.
The authors of the study studied the morphometric parameters of the morphofunctional state of the pituitary gland under the influence of the lipid-lowering and anti-atherosclerotic drug ladygynoside. The relative weight indices of basophilic, eosinophilic adenocytes, chromophobes and ADH stroma were calculated. Subsequent statistical processing of the data showed that daily administration of ladygynoside leads to an increase in the morphofunctional activity of adenohypophysis basophils. It has also been shown that this approach allows a fairly objective assessment of morphofunctional changes in ADH and can be recommended for using the above morphometric methods to study the morphofunctional status of other various organs.
