The assessment of the condition of sheep according to the BCS scale was carried out. Methods of examination and palpation were used. 5 categories of sheep fatness have been identified. BCS-assessment of body condition in sheep is a simple, labor-intensive method that has little or no stress on the sheep. Its use will allow timely correction of feeding errors and early assessment of the clinical condition of sheep during their mass research.
