The educational process is one of the social spheres of society that is developing
day by day. This article examines the importance of using information technologies in the
educational process. Information technologies create opportunities for improving the quality of
education, increasing students' motivation to study, and quickly acquiring knowledge. The article
also shows the role of information technologies in the educational process and their integration
with pedagogical methods.
Keywords:

motivation.
Introduction
In the early years of our independence, our first President Islam Karimov emphasized: "We must
rise to the level of world standards in the development of communications and
telecommunications in the coming years. Without a developed communications system,
Uzbekistan will have no future. We must clearly feel this."
Nowadays, information technologies (IT) play an important role in all spheres of our lives. The
introduction of IT in the education sector also makes it possible to make the educational process
more effective and interactive. With the help of information technologies, students can quickly
and effectively acquire knowledge, as well as work collaboratively. This article analyzes the
importance of using information technologies in the educational process and its impact on the
quality of education.
Main part
The concept of "information" means the provision of information as a resource, replenishment
with a whole arsenal of means of obtaining, collecting, processing and displaying information
about the resource.
Although information technology has existed at different stages of human development, today
information technologies occupy a leading position among existing new technologies. The
current development and achievements of information technologies demonstrate the need for
informatization of all areas of science and human activity. Informatization of society is an
objective process associated with increasing the role of intellectual activity in all aspects of
human life. Informatization of society serves the social improvement of the living standards of
the people of our republic, the satisfaction of needs, the growth of the economy and the
acceleration of scientific and technical progress.
The goal of informatization is to activate intellectual activity on a global scale through the use of
new information technologies: computers and telecommunications. Information technologies

- rational organization of students' cognitive activity in the educational process;
- making learning more effective by involving all types of students' sensory perceptions in a
multimedia context and equipping the intellect with new conceptual tools;
- creating an open educational system that provides each individual with their own educational
path; Involving categories of children with different abilities and learning styles in the active
learning process;
- using the specific features of the computer, which allows individualizing the educational
process and resorting to fundamentally new cognitive tools:
- activating all stages of the educational process.
The main educational value of information technologies is that they allow creating an
incomparably brighter multisensory interactive educational environment with almost unlimited
potential opportunities for the teacher and student. Unlike traditional technical teaching aids,
information technologies allow not only to fill the student with a large amount of knowledge, but
also to develop the intellectual, creative abilities of students, independently acquire new
knowledge, and work with various sources of information. Scientific and technological progress
has caused a technical re-equipment of the national economy and has led to a rapid replacement
of equipment and technologies used in various industries. The emergence of fundamentally new
tools and technologies based on the direct use of the latest achievements of science and
technology in production is becoming characteristic of the present era. At the current stage of
development of the educational process, the tasks of sharply improving the quality of education,
stimulating learning, and eliminating accumulated destructive phenomena are considered priority.
In our opinion, this is possible by combining traditional means with the latest achievements of
science and technology. In the context of modernization of education, the idea of
strengthening independent creative thinking of students, personal orientation, and
strengthening the component of activity in education is increasingly being sought. In ensuring
the effectiveness of the educational process, its activation based on the use of new pedagogical
technologies, including information technologies, plays an important role.
We can say that the computer has turned from a "teacher" into an active assistant to the teacher.
An interactive lecture, along with informational and cognitive content, has an emotional coloring
due to the use of computer slides in the process of its presentation. Having prepared for the
lecture in advance, the teacher develops the required number of slides on the computer in the
"Power Point" application of the "Office" program, complementing the video information in
them with sound and animation elements. Naturally, this significantly increases the requirements
for the teacher's qualifications. He must have the necessary knowledge of computer technology
and be competent in working with software. An important condition for conducting an
interactive lecture is also the presence of a specialized auditorium equipped with computer
technology and modern means for demonstrating visual and audio educational materials to the
public.
During the lecture, the teacher periodically presents information on the slide as an illustration.
This contributes to a better assimilation of the educational material by students. The
effectiveness of using interactive lectures in the process of teaching the course of economic
theory in technical universities is explained by the peculiarity of the design of text information in
the form of graphs, logical diagrams, tables, formulas, which are widely used by teachers of
technical disciplines. This, together with sound effects, animation elements and the teacher's
commentary, makes the educational material presented in a general humanitarian lecture
understandable for students with technical thinking abilities. Thus, the simultaneous participation

of the teacher and the computer in the educational process significantly increases the quality of
education.
Information technologies serve to improve the quality of education in the educational process.
With the help of information technologies, the educational process becomes more effective.
Teachers can make lessons more interesting and informative by using multimedia resources,
interactive programs, and online platforms. This increases students' interest in the lesson.
By using the Internet and other information sources, students can quickly find the necessary
information. This gives them the opportunity to learn independently and acquire new knowledge.
With the help of information technologies, students can easily communicate with each other and
work in groups. Online forums, chats and other communication tools provide students with the
opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
When introducing information technologies into the educational process, it is important to
integrate them with pedagogical methods. Teachers can use the following methods to effectively
use IT:
1. Interactive lessons
In interactive lessons, students actively participate through the use of information technologies.
For example, they can test their knowledge through interactive whiteboards or online tests.
2. Distance learning
Through distance learning platforms, students have the opportunity to participate in lessons from
anywhere. This has become especially important during the pandemic.
3. Project-based learning
In project-based learning, students can implement various projects using information
technologies. This allows them to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Management of the quality of education should be directed primarily to the organization of the
educational process on the basis of information technologies and the creation of conditions for
effective pedagogical activity. In the context of the use of information technologies, the activity
of the teacher is changing. This means that the teacher, using new teaching tools in a new
pedagogical environment, is not just giving students ready-made knowledge, but also forming
their skills to independently search for and find new knowledge.
The use of computer technology changes the philosophy of traditional teaching, that is, a third
participant, a computer, is involved in the educational process. Teachers who are accustomed to
traditional teaching technologies do not even realize the importance and advantages of computer-
based teaching. For them, the appearance of computers in the educational process is creating
difficulties. Therefore, the use of computer-based teaching technologies requires, first of all,
improving the skills of teachers in working with computers and forming an information culture
in them.
In recent years, the "game" teaching method, developed on the principle of imitative modeling
of real human activity situations (methods of activity), has become widespread. This method is
aimed at activating students in the learning process. An imitative game is a special computer
program that models the course of production processes, the development of technological
effects of machines and devices, demonstrates the operation of machines and devices, and
evaluates the knowledge acquired by students.

Conclusion
The use of information technologies makes the educational process more effective and
interactive. They play an important role in improving the quality of education, rapid acquisition
of knowledge and strengthening interaction. However, for the effective use of these technologies,
the training of teachers and access to resources are important. Therefore, it is necessary to pay
attention to these aspects in the process of introducing information technologies into the
education system.
So, informatization is not a temporary application, but a necessary means of development, and
the current state of the information environment cannot be maintained without informatics. It is
believed that the service of computing technology is invaluable in performing tasks such as fast,
high-quality collection, storage, processing and transmission of information.
