Uzbekistan, in addition to its geographical location, beautiful nature with four unique seasons, is
a land that captivates people with its mountain ranges that delight the eye and give people
pleasure, and its unique natural archaeological and rare landscape.
There is a place in the Khatirchi district of Navoi region of Uzbekistan that preserves many
ancient monuments - the village of Sangijuman. The name of this village comes from the Persian
term "shaking stone". Many people also call this valley of strange stones "the place of strange
stones".
In the village of Sangijumon on the southern slope of Oktov, a branch of the Nurota mountain
range, there is a unique rocking stone. Its miracle is that even a 12-14-year-old boy can easily
move this stone weighing more than 280 tons.
The rocking stone is a unique wonder of nature, such stones can be found all over the world in
the cities of Buenos Aires and Jerusalem, in addition to Sangijumon. It should be said that no
other stone on our planet can match Sangjumon in terms of size , vibration and amplitude.
Archaeologists say that Sangijumon was formed 280 years ago from molten and boiling
magmatic rocks that rose from the depths of the earth. They were unable to break through the
earth's crust in time and instead solidified in a certain depth.
Located at an altitude of 800-900 meters above the sea level, this kharsag is a large block of
granite rocks covering the gorge.
The circumference of the rock is 19 meters, the diameter is 9 meters, and the height is about 6
meters. The western side of the rock is very eroded. There are more than 100 unique natural
monuments of various forms in the Sangijumon Valley. They are named as follows: “Childirma
Tash”, “Kaputar Tash”, “Cobra”, “Kizil Egar”, “Tegirmon Tash”, “Elchiboy Dokan” and others.
So, the appearance of the stones is similar to a large turtle, a cobra snake, a mushroom.
Among the rocks, there is also a large hole rock, which is located near the rock, forming a huge
cliff. If you walk through the passage between the rock and the rock and look up at the sky, you
will feel like you are standing in a 15-20 meter well. A person who sees this rock from afar will
compare it to a landing eagle. The most interesting thing is that there is a hole in the lower part
of the rock. That is why the locals call it "Hole Rock". A person of average height can easily
pass through this hole. These rocks are mainly characteristic of limestone and marble masses of
the Paleozoic era. That is why there are step-by-step shales, areas of intrusive rocks,
conglomerates (rocks formed by the adhesion of sand, gravel and other rock fragments) and beds
of the Neogene era. Yes, the village of Sangijuman, with its unique and unique wonders,
beautiful and charming nature, captivates any person. Today, not only the inhabitants of
Uzbekistan, but also many tourists from foreign and CIS countries come to see this valley, to see
