Abstract

This article explores the effectiveness of digital assessment tools in online learning environments. It focuses on their impact on student engagement, real-time feedback, instructional efficiency, and overall learning outcomes. Using a mixed-method approach involving surveys and interviews with students and instructors, the study reveals that tools such as Google Forms, Kahoot!, and Quizizz significantly enhance student motivation and reduce teacher workload. However, issues related to academic dishonesty, unequal access, and technical problems are also highlighted. The study concludes that digital assessment tools, when used thoughtfully, can transform assessment practices and support a more interactive, flexible, and learner-centered educational experience.
