HIP JOINT (PELVIS–FEMORAL JOINT): STRUCTURE, FUNCTION, AND CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE

This article provides a scientific analysis of the anatomical structure, function, biomechanical properties, and clinical significance of the hip joint. The joint plays a central role in the human locomotor system, ensuring leg movements, body stability, and performance of daily as well as sports activities. The article discusses pathological conditions of the joint, including osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, traumatic dislocation, and congenital dysplasia. In addition, approaches to joint diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation are analyzed. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of preserving joint function, early detection of pathologies, and developing effective treatment strategies.
