Abstract

This study explores the concept of pedagogical competence and its key components, emphasizing its critical role in effective teaching and learning. Pedagogical competence is a multidimensional construct that includes subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, classroom management, communication and interpersonal abilities, and professional ethics. Each component contributes to creating an inclusive, engaging, and productive learning environment that meets diverse student needs. The research highlights how well-developed pedagogical competence enhances student engagement, promotes critical thinking, supports collaborative and autonomous learning, and ensures continuous teacher improvement. The findings underscore the importance of fostering these competencies in teacher training and professional development to achieve high-quality education in modern contexts.
