Abstract

This article analyzes the interrelation between income inequality and poverty, as well as effective ways to reduce them. The paper highlights the main causes of socio-economic inequality, the imbalance in income distribution among the population, and their impact on economic growth. In addition, based on the experience of foreign countries, the study examines state policies aimed at poverty reduction and explores the possibilities of applying them in the context of Uzbekistan.
