ЯЗЫК КАК ЗЕРКАЛО КУЛЬТУРЫ

Abstract

Language as a phenomenon of human existence is not only a means of communication, but also a form of reflection of the culture, thinking and spiritual experience of the people. This article examines the philosophical understanding of language as a mirror of culture, its ontological and epistemological functions are revealed. Based on the works of E. Sepir, V. von Humboldt, M. Heidegger, V. A. Maslova and other researchers, the relationship between linguistic structures and cultural values is analyzed, manifested in proverbs, metaphors, rituals and traditions of various peoples. Particular attention is paid to how national identity and worldview are formed through language, as well as how the linguistic picture of the world becomes a reflection of the historical and mental experience of mankind. The study combines philosophical and cultural approaches, allowing us to consider language as a living mirror, which reflects culture in all its diversity and depth.
