THE IMPACT OF INTERNAL AUDIT ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BANKING RISK MANAGEMENT (APPLIED STUDY ON A SAMPLE OF IRAQI BANKS)

In light of the scientific and technical progress in all aspects of life, banks need a control and auditing system to protect them from the risks they are exposed to as a result of their diverse financial dealings, to reduce or avoid losses and maintain and support banks to carry out their work in a way that enables them to achieve a competitive advantage. The problem is embodied in the extent of the contribution of internal auditing in how to manage banking risks and demonstrate their effectiveness in banks. It aims to stand on the reality of internal auditing and the extent of its application in Iraqi banks, with the importance of identifying the functions of internal auditing in auditing, evaluating and following up on the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management procedures based on the risk-based auditing approach. In addition to the commitment to applying the standards, principles and guidelines issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors or issued by the International Organization for Banking Supervision that govern the performance of the internal auditor and help him identify obstacles and find solutions to support and succeed in risk management in the two banks. The research sample used the questionnaire in the practical aspect to show the effectiveness of internal auditing in managing banking risks and to come up with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: Continuing work to enhance and develop the skills and knowledge of internal auditors by holding training courses on how to deal with banking risk management to enable them to perform their work effectively, and for banking institutions to support the components of the independence of the internal auditor to perform his work efficiently.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SERVICE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT AL-ITTIHAD FOOD INDUSTRIES COMPANY

The food sector has recently witnessed great interest at all levels, as the issue of food service quality has become a matter of increasing global interest in an effort by hospital institutions to provide their food services with high quality to achieve the maximum possible customer satisfaction. This research aims to study the reality of food service quality in the public hospital institution in the Al-Aqsa Health Center for Primary Care and its relationship to customer satisfaction. The research relied on the independent variable of food service quality, which includes dimensions (technical capacity, ease of access to services, effectiveness, relationship between individuals, continuity) and the dependent variable of customer satisfaction. This study was able to conclude that the customer is satisfied with the services provided by the Union Food Industries Company, but he is not satisfied with the tangibility dimension, which requires developing food services in line with the needs of customers, by keeping pace with technological development by improving the material dimension.

The green economy also drives economic diversification by fostering green jobs and attracting sustainable investments. Despite its potential, challenges such as financial barriers, policy gaps, resistance from traditional industries, and limited awareness hinder its implementation. This paper calls for coordinated efforts from policymakers, industries, and citizens to embrace green economic principles, offering a vision for a sustainable future with long-term fiscal stability and environmental resilience.

The article examines the export potential of branded textile enterprises in Uzbekistan on the global market, highlighting the significance of the textile industry as a key sector of the country's economy. The introduction outlines the historical context, from the Silk Road to modern reforms initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aimed at modernizing and diversifying the economy. The focus is on the role of government reforms, such as programs for deep processing of cotton and the establishment of special economic zones, which contribute to export growth. The article also analyzes contemporary Uzbek brands, such as Art Soft Holding, Osborn Textile, BCT Denim, and Bahmal Group, and their presence in international markets. It discusses the main export markets, including CIS countries, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and the competitive advantages of Uzbek textiles, such as high-quality cotton and low production costs.


Despite its successes, the textile industry faces challenges, including insufficient brand recognition and sustainability requirements. The article concludes with an overview of the sector's development prospects, emphasizing the need for enhanced marketing efforts and the adoption of new technologies to increase competitiveness in the global market.

This study examines the relationship between trade openness, economic growth, and the evolution of labor-intensive industries in China. Over the past few decades, China has embraced a policy of economic liberalization, significantly integrating itself into the global market. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of economic data with qualitative interviews from industry stakeholders, to understand how increased trade openness has influenced the performance and adaptation of labor-intensive sectors. Findings indicate that while trade openness has spurred economic growth and expanded export opportunities, it has also posed challenges for labor-intensive industries, including rising competition and labor cost pressures. The study highlights the need for strategic policy interventions to enhance the resilience of these industries amidst changing economic dynamics. By identifying the key factors that contribute to the sustainability of labor-intensive industries, this research aims to provide insights for policymakers seeking to balance growth and stability in China’s evolving economic landscape.

Lecturer Performance: The Influence of Transformational Leadership Style, Work Environment, Compensation, and Institutional Transformation

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work environment, compensation, and institutional transformation on the performance of lecturers at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis that describes a certain characteristic or feature of a phenomenon that occurs and makes conclusions or generalizations about the population based on sample data. The sample used was 48 lecturers at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science. The results of the study indicate that compensation affects lecturer performance, while transformational leadership style, work environment, and institutional transformation do not affect lecturer performance. The implications of this study indicate that increasing compensation can significantly improve lecturer performance at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science, so it is important for institutions to focus on fairer and more adequate compensation policies. Conversely, improvements in transformational leadership style, work environment, and institutional transformation need to be adjusted to the specific context and needs of lecturers in order to have a more significant impact on performance.
