Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the role, classification, physiological functions, and chemical structure of vitamins and dietary supplements (DS) in the human body. The significance of DS in metabolism, immune enhancement, disease prevention, and treatment is scientifically discussed. It highlights the sources, daily intake norms, causes of hypovitaminosis and hypervitaminosis, and methods of prevention.
