This study explores the crucial role of visual aids in supporting and enhancing vocabulary acquisition among young learners of English. By combining comparative analysis of teaching methods with empirical research findings, it investigates how various visual elements such as flashcards, illustrations, digital media, and realia aid cognitive processing, strengthen memory retention, and make learning more meaningful. The study also considers how these tools contribute to a stimulating and interactive classroom environment, fostering higher levels of student engagement, motivation, and participation. Furthermore, it examines the effectiveness of visual aids in bridging the gap between abstract vocabulary concepts and learners’ concrete understanding, highlighting their importance as an essential component of modern pedagogical strategies for early language education.References
