Natural resources are among the key pillars of regional economies. Their rational and sustainable use ensures the preservation of ecological balance, the improvement of social welfare, and the long-term development of the national economy. This article analyzes the pressing issues of natural resource utilization in a regional context, including the rapid depletion of raw materials, overexploitation, environmental degradation, and uneven distribution among regions. The paper also proposes strategies for rational resource management, strengthening ecological sustainability, and improving regional policy mechanisms.References
