Abstract

This article analyzes the key factors that shape competitiveness in regional economies, their interrelations, and their impact on economic growth. The study examines institutional environment, infrastructure, innovation capacity, human capital, and investment attractiveness as the main determinants of a region’s competitiveness. The results show that a competitive regional economy can be achieved through a comprehensive approach and by improving the efficiency of regional governance.
