Abstract

This article discusses the structure, functions, and biological significance of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) in living organisms. It provides detailed information about the chemical composition of nucleic acids, their role in the storage, transmission, and expression of hereditary information, and explains the relationship between DNA and RNA, their role in protein synthesis, and their applications in biotechnology, genetics, and medicine.
