INFLUENCE OF TUGLISIDE ON PROTEIN BIOSYNTHESIS IN RAT LIVER

Relevance:
Protein substances form the basis of all vital cell structures; they are a part of the
cytoplasm and are the basis of all living things. The protein synthesis is a complex and multistage
process. It is performed in special organelles called ribosomes. Violation of synthesis is possible at
all the three stages: replication, transcription and translation. In medical practice, medicinal
substances are used that can stimulate protein synthesis in the div.
Purpose:
The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of the drug “Tugliside” on protein
biosynthesis in rat liver.
Material and methods:
The experiment was conducted on 20 white rats of both sexes
weighing 160-180 g. Animals are divided into 5 groups, for a period of 20, 15, 10, 5 days, 3 rats for
each term, the remaining 4 act as control. Rats were administered drug “Tugliside” at a dose of 20 mg
/ kg in the above periods. Drug in the form of white powder is orally injected using a special syringe
withtip. Experimental slaughter was carried out at certain times on these animals.
Result
: The results of the studies showed that in experimental groups, a marked increase in
speed protein biosynthesis was observed. The largest increase occurs on the 5th day, then on 10th and
15th day. Accordingly, on the 5th day, the protein indicator is 115g / l, 15th day - 97 g / l, 10th day -
90g / l. The study relates to experimental medicine and pharmacology and can be used for stimulation
of protein biosynthesis in certain organs, namely in the liver, thymus, spleen, bone marrow, kidneys.
The drug is used if it is necessary to stimulate biosynthesis of protein only in the hematopoietic and
immunocompetent organs (spleen,bone marrow, kidneys, thymus, liver), which is necessary with such
pathologies (conditions) like immunodeficiency of different nature, persistence of bacteria and viruses
in conditions of decreased immunoreactivity organism while suppressing its hematopoietic function,
sluggish current inflammatory processes, stimulation of protein biosynthesis in other organs and div
tissues in this case are a side (additional) load on the div since protein biosynthesis is an energy-
intensive process.
Conclusion:
Our result shows that the drug Tugliside significantly increases protein
biosynthesis, affecting the stages of replication,transcription and translation.
