Actuality
: the modern trend of world development contributes to the modernization of society
in all areas, and education is no exception. In this regard, there is a tendency to strengthen the role of
a foreign language in the process of training qualified personnel with professional competence.
However, the formation of professional competencies is impossible without the introduction of
modern information resources in the learning process.
Aim:
the introduction of a new technique to improve the development of English for students
of medical universities. Consideration of a new teaching approach, taking into account increasing
interest in the subject, taking into account modern requirements for a foreign language
Materials and methods
: One of the most important goals of the teacher is to interest the
student in the process of mastering the subject. At the same time, it is no longer considered effective
to demand student's performance according to old methods, since constantly loading new information
and doing homework according to strict parameters makes the student lose interest in the subject,
given that everything can be done through the information technology of the present time, without
putting extra effort. It is especially necessary to pay attention to students of medical universities, since
in parallel with the development of social and humanitarian subjects; they need to be well prepared
for special medical subjects. And the task of the subject of the English language is to correctly express
their point of view and thought in further activities. Based on this, we should introduce new methods
of teaching the English language, given the lack of time among students. Conduct lessons in parallel
with other specialized subjects corresponding to the level of training. The ESP technique "English for
Special Purpose", it consists of several stages:
-Informational step, where the teacher gives certain brief explanations to the topic.
-Question step, where the student is required to work on the following questions related to the topic
• What I know is ....
• What should I know....?
• What can I add to this....?
• How can I use it ... ?
- Intermedia steer, where modern technologies are used.
The second stage serves as an active discussion of the topic, in which the maximum involvement of
all students is created to master a specialized subject using a foreign language. Naturally, without the
use of modern innovative technologies, the saturation of the flow of information will decrease slightly.
For these purposes, the ESR technique includes another task, work with intermedia (video tutorials,
presentations, audio files), which increases the level of perception of information.
Results
: during the lesson, the student increases:
- attention to outgoing information from a teacher, classmates
- interest in the topic being studied, as it is aimed at improving the quality and other relevant subject
- thinking during the discussion of the topic
- vocabulary for participation during the lesson
- correct explanation of thought and statement of speech
Conclusions
: the material of scientific work can be used in the educational process, as it
contains important information necessary to increase the effectiveness of the educational process, the
development of knowledge, skills of students, their professional orientation.
