Relevance of the topic.
In the modern world, in connection with global, geopolitical,
economic and sociocultural changes, more stringent requirements are imposed on a person. There is
an increasing need to communicate freely in a foreign language, and sometimes even in several. The
way and the amount of perception of information has changed, so it is necessary to change approaches
to learning. There is an opinion that early teaching of foreign languages complicates the content of
preschool education, and is harmful, since it deprives a child of childhood. However, studies have
shown that the study of foreign languages, with the correct organization of classes, develops children,
increases their educational and cultural level.
The changes that have occurred in our country over the last few years have provoked the interest of
the broad masses of the population in the study of foreign languages, especially English, due to a
variety of circumstances and opportunities. Therefore, the study of English was put forward, almost
in first place among others in all education subsystems, starting from kindergarten.
Purpose of the study
. The study was aimed at determining the psychological prerequisites
for mastering spoken English by senior preschoolers for six months and the possible correction of the
main psychological speech processes in the presence of deviations in the development of children.
One of the most important factors in language acquisition and corrective effects on preschoolers is
the positive motivation of children and parents. The motivation for learning English is closely related
to cognitive activity. The psychological basis of pronunciation is mainly related to the generation of
speech. The organs of speech are the same for all people, but the articulation bases are different. For
the Russian language, perceptual perception is characterized by a dorsal structure, activity of the tip
of the tongue and the front of the back of the tongue, as well as the vertical movement of the tongue.
In English, it is different. This difference was supposed to play a corrective role in the sound
pronunciation of speech in preschool children participating in the experiment.
To achieve this goal, the following methods were applied:
1. Listening, i.e. listening
comprehension. The formation of English-language phonetic skills. While the vocal apparatus is
plastic and the mechanisms for mastering native speech still operate, these skills are easily acquired,
so it is important not to miss the time.
2. Speaking is a productive type of speech activity; it is a complex psycholinguistic and
psychophysical process. This is the opposite of listening. If in listening the process went from
perceiving the form to comprehension, then when speaking the process goes from the content to the
form.
3. The formation and replenishment of the lexical stock of children. The main task of working on
vocabulary at the initial stage of research was to create a vocabulary necessary and sufficient for
elementary communication skills in the everyday household sphere. At the initial stage, ambiguity
was excluded.
Conclusion
: After analyzing the data obtained, we can see the corrective effect of teaching
the older children of the English language: all aspects of native speech are improved, i.e. the
vocabulary is expanding, the dialogical and monologue speech of children is improving, the phonemic
hearing is improving. Preschoolers improved self-esteem, awareness, improved auditory and visual
memory, imagination and ability to generalize. The study of theory, and experimental results obtained
using various research methods, showed that the inclusion of the English language program for the
education and training of children 5-6 years old in preschool institutions allows to more fully realize
its educational and developmental potential, and thereby contribute to the formation of a harmoniously
developed personality child, his general and linguistic abilities, a more solid assimilation of the
English language with its further study.
