Abstract.
The internationalization of the university is an important strategic direction for
the development of education in the modern world. Uzbekistan, as a country striving to develop and
improve its education system, also attaches great importance to this process. The thesis examines
the best practices of internationalization of universities in Uzbekistan, its goals and objectives.

In today's global society, international cooperation and knowledge exchange are integral
parts of education. The internationalization of the university involves the expansion of the
boundaries of education and research, the involvement of international students and teachers, as
well as the development of partnerships with foreign universities and educational organizations.
The main goal of the internationalization of universities is to improve the quality of
education. International students and professors bringing their experience and knowledge can
contribute to the diversity and improvement of the educational process. It also helps to raise
academic standards and encourages students and professors to achieve high results. All these will
lead to global competitiveness, namely the internationalization of universities will contribute to the
competitiveness of the university in the international arena.
Universities that actively attract international students and develop international relations
have the opportunity to compare their achievements with the best international educational
institutions. If we look at the aspect of cultural exchange, then the involvement of foreign students
here allows us to create a multicultural educational environment where students can study and
interact with representatives of different countries and cultures. This contributes to the development
of tolerance, intercultural understanding and global thinking.
The task of internationalization of the university in Uzbekistan is to attract foreign students.
One of the main tasks of internationalization is to attract foreign students to universities in
Uzbekistan and vice versa. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to develop and implement marketing
strategies, conduct an active advertising campaign, offer attractive educational programs and
scholarships for international students.
It is also necessary to highlight the aspect of improving language training. For successful
training of foreign students, it is necessary to create conditions for improving the level of
knowledge of various languages. Universities can organize language courses, provide opportunities
for studying Uzbek or Russian languages, and also offer training programs not only in English, but
also in other foreign languages. The development of international partnerships is an important task
of internationalization and development of partnerships with foreign universities and organizations.
This may include organizing exchanges of students and teachers, conducting joint research,
organizing joint conferences and seminars. One of the most important aspects may be the
improvement of intercultural communication.
In the context of the internationalization of the university, it is important to ensure
successful intercultural communication between foreign and Uzbek students and teachers. To do
this, it is necessary to organize events and cultural programs, conduct training in intercultural
communication and awareness of differences in cultural values.
Another important aspect is the development of international scientific activity. The
internationalization of the university also includes the development of international scientific
activities. Universities should encourage their teachers and researchers to participate in international
research projects, organize joint research programs and publish on international scientific platforms.

This contributes to the exchange of knowledge, improving the scientific reputation of the university
and attracting international research grants.
It should be noted the importance of creating international educational programs.
Universities in Uzbekistan can develop and implement international educational programs together
with foreign partners. This may include dual degree programs, student and faculty exchanges, joint
courses and modules, as well as online education.
Support of international students - an important task of the internationalization of the
university is to create favorable conditions for foreign students. This includes: providing housing,
support in adaptation, organizing cultural events, consulting support and providing information
about insurance, visa procedures and other issues.
The internationalization of universities is an important area of development that
contributes to improving the quality of education, global competitiveness and the development of
intercultural understanding.
Thus, the goals of internationalization include attracting international students, developing
international partnerships, improving language training, developing intercultural communication
and scientific activities, as well as creating international educational programs. The implementation
of these tasks requires joint efforts of universities, government agencies and other stakeholders. The
internationalization of the university contributes to the development of education and provides
training of highly qualified specialists ready to work in an international environment.
