Clinically, neurotrophic disorders manifest themselves most often in acute brain diseases (strokes, injuries, meningoencephalitis, etc.), accompanied by the involvement of the hypothalamus - pituitary gland, brain stem, sympathetic and vagus nerves [3]. At the same time, the greatest functional and morphological disorders are observed in the gastrointestinal tract (ulcers, erosion, hemorrhages), lungs (edema, pneumonia) and pancreas (transient hyperglycemia) [1, p. 529] and liver (4, p. 170] Despite the fact that the main theater of action is expressed in a local catastrophe of the brain and neurological disorders, most researchers and practitioners do not pay due attention to the essential role of the "main laboratory" of the body - the morphofunctional state of the liver [7, p. 876].
One of the achievements of the last decade in the field of health care of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the rapid introduction of many types of high-tech medical care. First of all, this significantly increases the demands on medical personnel in terms of their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The development of market relations in all spheres of economic and social life, including healthcare, requires the training of specialists with the necessary competencies. Global problems based on medical errors and significant risks of negative scenarios require further development of educational technologies and improvement of their quality in all areas of training of medical professionals in the future. does.
Using multivariate analysis to identify predictive risk parameters in the diagnosis of asymptomatic osteogenic metastasis of renal and prostate cancer. The work was based on the results of observations of 105 patients with a morphologically confirmed diagnosis of malignant neoplasm registered at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Radiology (RSNPMTSO and R) and the Samarkand branch. In 62 patients with kidney cancer (RP) included in the study, the mean age of patients with RP was 58.3 years. 43 patients with prostate cancer (PC) were included in the study, the average age of patients with PC was 68 years. We analyzed such parameters as age, stage of the disease, timing of detection of bone metastasis (BM), prevalence, type and size of BM, as well as additional criteria: in case of prostate cancer - the size of the primary tumor and the degree of malignancy, in case of prostate cancer - the sum of points on the Gleason scale and the prostate -specific antigen (PSA). It was revealed that the highest risk in detecting BM in RP was noted for the stage of the disease, p = 0.006. Also, a high risk was associated with the size and grade of tumor malignancy, with CR at p = 0.006 and p = 0.008, respectively. Among the listed, the highest risk in detecting BM is observed in prostate cancer for the stage of the disease (p = 0.001). In addition, an increased risk was observed for the Gleason score and PSA level (p = 0.013 and p = 0.008, respectively). Thus, during the 2-year follow-up, BM most often develops in patients with kidney cancer at stage Tv-T3a stage and with grade G III and in patients with prostate cancer - in the presence of stage III with a Gleason score of ≥ 7 and a level PSA in the range of 21-50 ng / ml.
The article considers and solves the problem of determining the average operation period of belt conveyor rollers used for transporting overburdened rocks in the conditions of the Angren open pit. The main objective of the study is to determine the operation period of the conveyor belt rollers by considering statistical and dynamic loads on individual pieces of rock. A graph of the dependence of the service life of the belt conveyor rollers on the belt speed was obtained. Recommendations for increasing the service life of belt conveyor rollers are presented.
The digital age has transformed the way individuals express sympathy and condolences, particularly in the aftermath of tragic incidents such as the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey on February 6, 2023. This study aims to explore the linguistic variation in online condolences posted on social media platforms in response to this natural disaster. By employing a qualitative analysis of condolence messages, we examine the syntactic and pragmatic elements that characterize these expressions of sympathy. Our findings reveal distinct linguistic patterns and thematic functions, including expressions of empathy, solidarity, and religious undertones. The study highlights the influence of cultural and contextual factors on the language of online condolences, shedding light on the complex interplay between language, culture, and digital communication in times of tragedy.
Sarcopenia is diagnosed in 20-70% of patients with advanced neoplasms and is associated with a number of negative consequences. At the same time, this condition rarely comes to the attention of practicing oncologists, including due to diagnostic difficulties. Correcting sarcopenia requires a multidisciplinary approach, including optimal nutrition with adequate protein intake, micronutrients, and aerobic and strength-training exercise.
Cellular immune status provides information on the relative and absolute numbers of cell populations (monocytes, granulocytes and lymphocytes) and subpopulations of lymphocytes in the blood. The human body is equipped with a complex defence mechanism whose primary function is to distinguish foreign antigens from the body's own antigens and initiate an appropriate immune response. Historically, innate immunity differs from adaptive immunity, and these systems work closely together. The immune response is mediated by both cellular components (B- and T-lymphocytes, NK cells, macrophages/monocytes, granulocytes and antigen-presenting cells) and humoral components (antibodies, complement factors, cytokines and other soluble effector molecules). [12,13].
Metastases to the peritoneum occur in 55-60% of patients with gastric cancer and are associated with a 5-year overall survival of 2%. Treatment options for these patients are limited, and targeted therapy or immunotherapy is not available. Rational therapeutic targets have yet to be found. In this review, we present the published literature and our own recent experience in molecular biology to identify important molecules and signalling pathways as well as cellular immunity involved in GC peritoneal metastases.
In metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC), bone is the second most common site of metastases, occurring in one third of patients. Most bone metastases are found in the sacrum, pelvis, spine and proximal limbs. In addition, the majority of bone metastases are osteolytic with elements of destruction; mixed metastases also occur. This predisposes patients to skeletal events such as pathological fracture, spinal cord compression, which implies the prescription of radiation therapy or bone surgery.
