Kardioonkologiya – bu yurak-qon tomir tizimi va onkologik kasalliklar o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro bog‘liqlikni o‘rganadigan tibbiyot sohasi bo‘lib, bugungi kunda juda muhim ilmiy-amaliy yo‘nalishga aylanmoqda. Ushbu maqolada kardioonkologiyaning mazmuni, yurak va o‘sma kasalliklarining umumiy xavf omillari, shuningdek, onkologik davolash jarayonida yuzaga keladigan kardiotoksik ta’sirlar yoritilgan. Kimyoterapiya, radioterapiya va yangi davo usullarining yurakka salbiy ta’siri, yurak kasalliklarining rivojlanish mexanizmlari va ularni aniqlash usullari tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, profilaktika, monitoring va kardiolog-onkolog mutaxassislar hamkorligining ahamiyati ko‘rsatib o‘tilgan.
