In this article, some linguistic and psychological features of emotive phraseology are analyzed on the example of French phraseology.  In particular, the level of research of French emotive phraseological units in the field of emotiology, the views of researchers regarding the category of "emotionality" and some linguo-cognitive features of nominal and verbal phraseology in French phraseology are discussed.  Through this, special attention is paid to the classification features of emotive phraseology from a logical and psychological point of view.

        The article discusses the method of comparison in the study of the topic of particle and describes Uzbek, Turkish, and Kirghiz phonetic and functionally correlates some particles, their functionality, different semantic relations, the polyfunctionality, generals, and differences in particles in these languages. The material of literary works, oral speech, dictionaries, and grammar descriptions witness their semantic-functional disproportion in these languages. The polyfunctionality of the particle -da in the Uzbek, Turkish, and Kyrgyz languages is studied in a comparative aspect. Scientific opinions and conclusions are supported by literary and journalistic works, grammar sources, and examples from oral speech.

This article discusses the question of the emergence of archaisms belonging to the layer of outdated vocabulary, the stages of the archaization process and the specific features of archaization. Factors influencing the archaization of words are also revealed.

This article contains the theoretical foundations of poem translation, its descriptions, translation used in poetry translation, and the requirements for poetic translators.

Project-based learning is a methodological strategy. Teachers perform a series of tasks based on solving questions or problems. Project-based learning is an effective and interesting way of learning. In it, students acquire the competencies needed to achieve success in their lives. In project-based learning, the learner is active rather than passive, the project engages their heart and mind and encourages them to find solutions to real-life problems for learning.

Researchers around the world have found that reading skills are the key to learning English. The article provides an understanding of the importance of reading skills in language learning and information exchange in a foreign language, effective approaches and technologies for developing reading skills. The research paper covers the most basic as well as advanced techniques to teach students to solve the problem of learning how to read and developing the skills further based on their age and educational background. In the article, levels of students are generally divided into 3 groups as per age and learning ability criteria and vivid examples of instructions are given based on the group level. Additionally, the article highlights educational websites and programs that serve as motivation for young people in developing skills. In the formation and development of reading skills, the age of students and the level of language proficiency are discussed based on scientific sources.

The article reveals the ontolinguistic aspects of the positive and negative influence of bilingualism on the speech development of a child in the system of choosing a generic correlate. The ways of mastering the methods of education of masculine, feminine and neuter gender are analyzed in fifth-grade students with the Uzbek language of education. The most common speech and language difficulties of bilingual children are researched.

This article discusses the types of audiovisual authentic materials and using them in teaching English. The popularity of English around the world is increasing, including in Uzbekistan. As a result, the demand for learning this language is on the ascendant as a means of communication. Unfortunately, there is a lack of information about teaching pupils with the help of audiovisual aids in our education system. Developing the usage of authentic materials in the class can be an effective way to motivate pupils and it encourages pupils’ interaction during English classes. Audiovisual authentic materials are considered useful tools in teaching English in EFL countries. For this reason, foreign language teachers should pay more attention to authentic materials in their teaching process in order to improve pupils’ communicative competence. Besides that, by establishing teaching English in the EFL classrooms, the types and examples of audiovisual authentic material also evolved due to the teachers’ teaching style and capability. This paper emphasizes the forms of audiovisual authentic materials and how they assist teachers in their teaching process. Also this paper gives some perceptions and hints both to the teachers and learners of English on how to improve their teaching and learning skills by using audiovisual authentic materials in the English classroom.

In this article, the linguistic features of the proper nouns used to name unreal objects found in Khorezm dastans are considered. In particular, naming bases and principles of units of this type are described.

This article analyzes the question of how to evaluate the literature of the soviet era in general, on the example of the work of Shukhrat, a representative of the "middle generation" in Uzbek literature - writer, poet, and dramatist.  The life and work of Shukhrat, a prominent representative of Uzbek literature, his artistic skills, and his own style are reflected in his works.  In Shukhrat's works, artistic thinking acquires meaning for all times, serves to enrich the meaning of a person, and shapes his thinking.  We aim to re-examine the great literary heritage created by the writer with an impartial attitude.  Also, the books published after the writer's death "Image of Thought" and "In Memory of Contemporaries of Fame" are analyzed.

This article presents a new artistic interpretation of the work of the wise poet and warrior Pakhlavon Mahmud Piryorvali as an architect, mirab, wise adviser and healer.

This article presents a detailed analysis of the dialect vocabulary found in N.V. Gogol's story "The Night Before Christmas" from the cycle "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka." It highlights the ideological and artistic functions of the dialect in the text based on specific examples, provides a classification of dialectical words, and contains a number of theoretical judgments about the language of the writer's works and his contribution to the subsequent development of Russian literature. During the research process, two main functions of dialectical words in the structure of N.V. Gogol's literary texts were identified: characterological and nominative.

This article presents an analysis of the artistic means and author's methods of creating comedy used in the novel They eat puppies, don't they? In this novel, a skillful mixture of stylistic devices with the thinking stereotypes of ordinary Americans is noteworthy. The author's manner of selecting artistic means of expression to create the most antagonistic camps arose interest. At the same time, this article also presents an analysis of toponyms with their historical and cultural features inherent in the country. This work does not provide detailed information about the composition and the ideological-thematic component of the novel.

In this article, the concept of motive, and its unique and common features in fantasy works are explored using the example of the novels of Ray Bradbury and Isajon Sultan.

The aim of this study is to provide an academic analysis of the fantasy genre emerging in literature as a new literary term. Each country introduces new terms and literary genres into its own literature, recognizes its essence, and then tries to reconcile it with its own culture. Fantasy as a literary genre cannot be compared with its status in world literature today. This study identifies fantasy as the most important fictional genre in literature and analyzes its importance with several scientific approaches. It also examines the characteristics of the ongoing fiction and fantasy genres. Then, determine their relationship based on scientific evidence.
