The purpose of the study is to analyze the incidence rates of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the period 2010-2019, by region. Methods: the analysis of the dynamics of indicators of the general and primary incidence of AMD over a 10-year period was carried out, by copying and statistical methods. Results: over the period of study, the indicators of general and primary morbidity in the regions of the republic are uneven and tend to steadily increase. Conclusions: The overall incidence in Uzbekistan for the period 2010-2019. increased by 1.8 times and in 2019 amounted to 24.45 per 100,000 population. The primary incidence over this period increased by 2.3 times and in 2019 amounted to 8.38 per 100,000 population. The incidence in the regions of the republic varies considerably, which necessitates a number of measures to improve the quality of medical care.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a degenerative, progressive disease of the macular region of the retina, which is the leading cause of central vision loss in older people in developed countries. Purpose of the study. to study the incidence rates of AMD in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of regions. Material and methods: based on the data of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, data from the reporting documentation of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Eye Microsurgery, a retrospective analysis of the dynamics of indicators of general and primary morbidity of AMD for the period from 2010 to 2019 in the context of regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the city of Tashkent was carried out and statistical methods. Research results.Аnalysis of the overall morbidity showed that relative to 2010, the indicators had some downward trend - in 2011 - 15.09, in 2012 - 14.73, but since 2013 they have been growing and in 2019 increased by 7.25 per 100 thousand population relative to 2010 (from 16.30 to 23.55 per 100 thousand population). An analysis of the primary incidence of AMD indicates that the rates are steadily growing from 3.60 in 2010 to 8.38 per 100 thousand population in 2019 (by 4.78). Conclusions. For the first time, the indicators of the incidence of AMD in the Republic of Uzbekistan for a 10 year period are presented, which indicate a high level, in comparison with developed countries, a growth trend and uneven numbers in the regions, which requires organizational and other decisions.

The purpose of the study. Optimization of anesthesia by using the low-opioid anesthesia technique for thoracoplasty in children.
Materials and methods. Analyzed the course of anesthesia in 48 patients aged 3 to 14 years, operations for pectus excavatum in children. The distribution of patients into groups was carried out depending on the technique of anesthesia. Group 1 (main) consisted of 25 children who underwent general anesthesia using low doses of fentanyl, sevoflurane and propofol. group 2 (control) - 23 children who underwent general anesthesia with fentanyl and propofol. Echocardiography was used to determine hemodynamic parameters. The dynamics of changes in the level of cortisol in the blood and the concentration of catecholamines (adrenaline, norepinephrine, dopamine) in the blood was studied.
Results. In children of the first group, during the introductory period of anesthesia, there was a decrease in CI, an increase in heart rate and UPS. Stroke index (SI), mean arterial pressure (MAP),
cardiac index (CI) changed insignificantly compared to the previous stage of the study. In the children of the second group in the most traumatic stages of the operation, there was an increase in SI, HR, and AI. In the most traumatic stages of the operation and after the operation in children of the first group, there was a tendency to increase cortisol, in the second group of patients, an increase in cortisol was noted.

Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) is a very rare autoimmune disease that is associated with demyelination of the peripheral nervous system and progressive muscle weakness that occurs mainly in previously healthy people. The incidence of GBS is 1.1-1.8 cases per 100,000 per year, and the incidence increases with age. The clinical spectrum of GBS is heterogeneous and includes acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP), acute motor axonal neuropathy (AMAN), acute motor and sensory axonal neuropathy (AMSAN), and Miller Fisher Syndrome (MFS). The disease is usually characterized by a rapid onset of symmetrical limb weakness, which progresses within a few days to 4 weeks and occurs in patients of any age. In developed countries, GBS has become the most common cause of acute flaccid paralysis. Despite improved recognition and treatment, GBS continues to be a serious disease.
There were investigated the incidence of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) in the territory of Tashkent city. The analysis of the material on the primary registered cases for 2015-2019 years was carried out according to the Tashkent City Cancer Register - a 1257 cases of morbidity in 1215 patients. According to the results of the study, there were given comprehensive epidemiological characteristics of the BCC: age, sex, ethnicity, and stage systematization of the spread of the primary process. During the 5 years period under consideration there where prevalence of detection of the II stage of BCC. The article describes the characteristics of the histological picture, namely the results of the histological typing. The predominant histological type was determined - a solid variant of BCC, while the author indicates a high percentage of non-typed BCC.
We, to study in dynamics the agesex features of the physical development of organized preschool children (from 4 to 7 years of age) and develop evaluation tables (standards). The level of physical development of children is one of the main indicators of health. Physical development, unlike other indicators of the sanitary state of the population (morbidity, mortality), gives a direct positive characteristic of public health.
The aim of this research is to study child population morbidity in Azerbaijan by results of obligatory medical examinations for 2014-2019yy. In recent years, Azerbaijan has made progress in improving the quality of medical services. In order to improve the health status of the child population and provide it with high-quality medical care, the Law “On compulsory clinical examination of children” was approved in 2013. In pursuance of this law, the material and technical base of children's outpatient clinics providing medical services to children has been strengthened, their provision of medicines and medical equipment has been improved, preventive medical examinations are carried out, the quality of clinical observations and new forms of medical and rehabilitation measures are worked out. Despite this, it is necessary to understand the feasibility of an integrated, systematic approach to the implementation of tasks to preserve, strengthen and improve the health status of the child population based on the study of child health indicators, the most important of which is morbidity.
